The name given to the Son above all names

I do like the name Jehoshua as that is my favorite to use when using a proper name for the Son of God. However, the dogmatism behind the "proper name" movement misses the very point behind the importance of the name of the Son of God and what it truly means to believe on his name. The name that is important is not Yeshua, Jesus or Jehoshua but it's the name:

"Only begotten Son of God"

That name is the name given to Jehoshua that is more excellent than the angels (Hebrews 1:4-5) as it represents His Davidic Kingship as it comes from Psalm 2:7

"Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee"

No angel has the right to sit on the throne of David as Jehovah promised David a royal offspring to establish the Davidic dynasty forever which Jesus fulfilled at his ascension into heaven (Hebrews 1:8-9, Acts 2:29-31, Acts 13:32-36).

In 2nd Samuel 7 Jehovah made a Father-Son covenant relationship with David's royal seed.

This is why it's important to acknowledge that Jehoshua was never an angel as he is fully man of the seed of David.

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;10 that in the name of Jehoshua every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] on earth and [things] under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jehoshua Messiah is King, to the glory of God the Father.

Jehovah God highly exalted Jehoshua at his resurrection and ascension. What is the name Jehovah gave Jehoshua that is above every name? Again, Hebrews 1:4-5 is the answer to that question:

"Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee"

This is the name that the angels weren't given at it is a Davidic Kingship title and only the royal offspring of David has a right to that name. John chapter 3 confirms this to be the name that we must believe on to have eternal life:

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. 18 He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Notice that John says that those who do not believe in the name of the "only begotten Son" are judged already. John identifies the title "only begotten Son" as the name that we must believe on to have eternal life. This fits with Hebrews 1:4-5 as the name that Jehoshua inherited that was more excellent than the angels.

Back to Philippians, in verse 9 the name given to Jehoshua that is above all names is connected with him being highly exalted by Jehovah God. Hebrews 1:4-5 is in connection with the exhalation of Jehoshua, as that chapter is about the ascension of the Messiah into heaven. Hebrews 1:5 is quoting Psalm 2:7 which is in the context of a coronation of Kingship:

Psalm 2:6-7

6 Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.

If the exhalation of Jehoshua is when he was given the name above all names and that exaltation took place at his ascension, then we have strong evidence that the name above all names is the "only begotten Son", as Hebrews 1:5 is in that context. The passage that Hebrews 1:5 quotes from, Psalm 2:6-7, connects the enthronement of Jehovah's anointed one with the declaration of his begotten Sonship.

Verse 10 of Philippians says that in the name of Jehoshua every knee will bow. Many people use this verse to say it is the actual name of "Jehoshua" that is the name given above all names and while that is true in a sense it doesn't contradict that the name we are to believe on for salvation is the "only begotten Son of God".  The title of "only begotten Son" denotes being the Son of inheritance. This is a title rooted in the Davidic covenant (2 Samuel 7:14; Psalm 2:7). A name in the Hebraic mindset denotes character, identity and authority.

Character - Jehoshua is the righteousness of Jehovah God, the spotless lamb.

Identity - Jehoshua is the literal begotten Son of Jehovah God by way the of the virgin birth and by way of the Davidic covenant.

Authority - Jehoshua is the King of Israel and sits on the throne of David having power and authority over heaven and earth.

Verses 10 and 11 of Philippians 2, all in heaven, earth and the grave will bow to Jehoshua and confess that he is Lord (King) to the glory of God the Father. While many use this to say that we have to confess that Jesus is Jehovah because of the title "Lord" that is used here, the use of the word "Lord" should be understood within the context of Psalm 110:1:

"Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool"

Jehoshua is the Lord that is placed at Jehovah's right hand. The word "Lord" here is not the divine name (JHVH) but rather it is "adoni" meaning a human or angelic master. This is also a Davidic covenant fulfillment text as the Lord that is placed at Jehovah's right hand is the prophesied eschatological Davidic King. The Lord of Psalm 110:1 is the royal offspring of David as promised to David in 2 Samuel 7.

1 John 3:23

"And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jehoshua Messiah, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment"

The first commandment of Jehovah God, after believing that He is the one true God, is to believe in the name of His Son, Jehoshua Messiah. The name that we are to believe in is not simply the name Jehoshua (Jesus), for there are many that have that name but rather it is to believe in the name "only begotten Son of God" because of what that name (title) represents. To say the name that we have to believe on is the name "Jehoshua" leads people into the pronunciation and spelling controversy about how to say the Son of God's name and how to spell it and what name to use. People actually separate over this name controversy on how to say, spell and pronunciate the Son's name.

Again, there are many with the name Jesus (Joshua), so that can't be the literal name we have to believe on. When we understand that name to be "the only begotten Son of God" then we have a true understanding of what it means to believe on Jehoshua's name. Again, the title "only begotten Son" describes the true character, identity and authority of Jehoshua. This title that Jehoshua has separates him from the false versions of Jehoshua taught in Islam, for if we are to take the name literally as "Jehoshua" then it means Muslims have salvation. Obviously that is not the case, so one must believe that Jehoshua is truly the only begotten Son of God to be saved, as this is the biblical Jehoshua.

Martin Luther King, Jr. used the name Jesus in his sermons and speeches but denied his resurrection therefore denying his begotten Kingship. Just because he confesses the literal name of Jesus doesn't mean he believes in the name of Jesus. To believe in the name of Jehoshua one must believe in his literal begotten Sonship and his begotten Kingship:

John 1:49

"Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel"

This is the name of Jehoshua we must believe on to have eternal life.

Jehovah's battle axe

With Thanksgiving being today I thought it would be good to do a short study on Jehovah's battle ax. What does Jehovah's battle axe have to do with Thanksgiving? Well, let's read Jeremiah 51:

Jeremiah 51:19-24

19 The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and [Israel] is the tribe of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name. 20 Thou art my battle-axe and weapons of war: and with thee will I break in pieces the nations; and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; 21 and with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; 22 and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and him that rideth therein; and with thee will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin; 23 and with thee will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke [of oxen]; and with thee will I break in pieces governors and deputies. 24 And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith Jehovah.

It is Israel that is in view here as Jehovah's battle axe. In verse 19, Israel is called Jehovah's inheritance. This shows that in verse 20 the battle axe of Jehovah is Israel not anyone else as some commentaries say.  Although Jehovah may use non-Israelites for his purpose, namely Cyrus against Babylon, at times ultimately it is Israel that He uses as His rod of punishment on the nations. Jehovah God used Israel to wipe out the seven nations in the land of Canaan to partially fulfill the covenant He made with Abraham.

If Israel is Jehovah's begotten Son then why wouldn't they be His weapons of war since Jehovah Himself is a man of war:

Exodus 15:3

"Jehovah is a man of war: Jehovah is his name"

Like Father like Son, as David says that Jehovah teaches him to war:

Psalm 144:1

"Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight"

King David was a mighty warrior as he was taught directly by Jehovah God.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, let's remember that Jehovah ordained that the Israelite Christians from Europe would come over to the Americas to conquer and destroy the Native American nations. While this is not popular to say, even in the churches of Christendom, the fact is the Adamic-Israelite race is Jehovah's rod of punishment on the other races.

Verse 20 says that Jehovah will use Israel to break the nations in pieces and destroy Kingdoms and that's precisely what the European Israelites did when they came to the Americas. verses 21- 24 look back to the destruction of Pharaoh and his armies in the red sea and also look forward prophetically to end times Babylon. There is also a direct fulfillment of this as Jehovah anointed Pharoah to destroy Babylon that existed at the time of this prophecy.

Jehovah used Moses, an Israelite, to lead His Adamic nation out of the bondage of Egypt. Jehovah will also use His only begotten Son Jehoshua, an Israelite to break the nations (races) with a rod of iron at the last day and this will include old and young as it says in Jeremiah 51:23 along with the governors of the nations. Revelation 19 outlines this in detail. It will be Jehoshua, the King of Israel, executing the wrath of Jehovah God on the non Israelite nations. We as the true Israel of Jehovah God will be right there with him.

Psalm 2:8-9

8 Ask of me, and I will give [thee] the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter`s vessel.

This prophecy applies to all the Davidic Kings but it is ultimately fulfilled in Jehoshua and this is a prophecy of His enthronement (ascension into heaven) and his second advent where he will dash the non Israelite nations (races) to pieces with a rod of iron. The descendants of Israel were promised that they would possess the gates of their enemies:

Genesis 22;17

"that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies"

Abraham's seed is Isaac and then that seed passes through Jacob. The seed of Abraham was covenanted by Jehovah God to possess the gates of their enemies, in other words conquer them. This is exactly what took place when Israelite Christians from Europe came to America and possessed the gates of the Native Americans. This was not an evil genocide as the Jewish Bolshevik media portrays but rather a fulfillment of bible prophecy.

This promise to Abraham's seed was reiterated to Rebekah, Isaac's future wife:

Genesis 24:60

"And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Our sister, be thou [the mother] of thousands of ten thousands, and let thy seed possess the gate of those that hate them"

The seed of Rebekah was Jacob as Esau forfeited the Abrahamic blessings.

Psalm 149:1-9

1.Praise ye Jehovah. Sing unto Jehovah a new song, And his praise in the assembly of the saints. 2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance: Let them sing praises unto him with timbrel and harp.4 For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.5Let the saints exult in glory: Let them sing for joy upon their beds.6 [Let] the high praises of God [be] in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand;7 To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishments upon the peoples;8 To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;9 To execute upon them the judgment written: This honor have all his saints. Praise ye Jehovah

Look at what this passages says about the honor that Israel has been given by Jehovah God, that honor is to execute vengeance upon the nations. Also, the saints of Jehovah are charged with the honor of punishing the other races and binding their kings and nobles with chains and fetters of iron. This command by Jehovah, for Israel to execute judgment upon the other races, is written meaning it is guaranteed to happen i.e. the sure word of prophecy.

This honor in Psalm 149 has largely been fulfilled by the Adamic Israelite nations of Europe who conquered and colonized the world. Here in America, Thanksgiving is the celebration that highlights the European conquest of America and as descendants of Israel we should celebrate and be thankful for the covenant blessings Jehovah bestowed upon our father Abraham.

Exodus 23:23-24

23 For mine angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: and I will cut them off.24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and break in pieces their pillars.

Jehovah sent His angel, the Holy Spirit, before the Israelites to conquer and destroy the Canaanite nations so that they can possess the land promised to their forefather Abraham. This is an example of Jehovah using Israel as His battle axe to punish the pagan nations.

Here is a new testament example of Israel being used as Jehovah's battle axe:

Jude 1:14-15

14 And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Remember Psalm 149 and who is said to have the honor of executing judgment on the nations, it is the saints of Israel. Holy ones means Saints i.e. set apart and above Jude says Jehovah and His holy ones (Israelites) will execute judgment upon all.  This will be at the last day and Jehoshua, Jehovah's Son, will be the one leading the Saints of Israel into battle against the other races and that will be bring in the fulness of the Kingdom of Jehovah witnesses on earth.

The inheritance of the saints, where is it?

One of the biggest false doctrines in so called Christianity today is the idea that the hope and destiny of the saints is in heaven. Scripturally this could not be further from the truth as it contradicts the promises of Jehovah God.

Daniel 7:25-27

25 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time. 26 But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Verse 25 describes the little horn anti-Messiah and two specific things he does which is to make war against the saints and to think to change God's times and the law. Only the Papacy fulfills this description as history proves. The focus of this passage concerning this study is more about what the saints are given in respect to the judgment of the little horn. Verse 26, Jehovah will pronounce a verdict of guilty against the Papacy and take away his dominion over the earth and destroy his new world order kingdom.

Verse 27, this one verse destroys the heaven is the saints destiny doctrine of the Catholic-Protestant-Evangelical churches which includes the lynchpins of that doctrine which is the immortal soul teaching as well as the rapture. Daniel says that the saints will be given the Kingdom and dominion under the whole heaven which shows that the inheritance of the saints is on earth as earth is under heaven. Also, it says the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heavens will be given to the saints of Jehovah God. This absolutely confirms where the saints will reign and what their inheritance is as the kingdoms under the heavens are the earthly kingdoms that currently exist. This is confirmed in Revelation 11:15:

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become [the kingdom] of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever"

The Lord here is Jehoshua and his "Christ" here is not Jehoshua as that would not make sense but the Christ mentioned here are the saints as the word "Christ" means anointed ones and does not always refer to Jehoshua. Some take this "Lord" to mean the Father and his "Christ" to mean Jehoshua but when we match this up with Daniel 7:25-28 and Isaiah 9:6-7 then it makes sense to read it as Jehoshua and his anointed ones.

Most notably is where it says the kingdoms of this world will become ours i.e. the saints. This again shows that our eternal home is not heaven as commonly taught in Christendom but rather it is here on earth and that dominion (territory) of today's earthly kingdoms will be our possession. This takes place at the seventh trumpet i.e. the last day and not in some pre-trib rapture or any rapture at all.

Hebrews 11:13-16

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For they that say such things make it manifest that they are seeking after a country of their own.15 And if indeed they had been mindful of that [country] from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.16 But now they desire a better [country], that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not.

These verses are sandwiched between the promises that were given to Abraham and Sarah (See Genesis chapters 12, 15, 17 and 22). This promise was the land covenant of Canaan. Even though this was fulfilled as a type in Joshua's day, the ultimate fulfillment wasn't realized as the author of Hebrews states that they were looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. This is the city that Jehoshua said was coming down from his God out of heaven:

Revelation 3:12

"He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name"

This verse is important regarding understanding where our inheritance will be as clearly Jehoshua says New Jerusalem comes down to earth. This shows also that the earthly Jerusalem means nothing anymore and will not be where Jehoshua rules nor will it be the inheritance of the saints.

Isaiah 9:6-7

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

Jehoshua's Kingdom is an eternal one and it is managed from the throne of David. The passages above show that his eternal Kingdom will be on earth.

2 Peter 1:11

"for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jehoshua Messiah"

Again, the eternal Kingdom of Jehoshua Messiah is on the earth not in the skies of heaven therefore our entrance into his eternal Kingdom will be at the last day when the seventh trumpet sounds (Revelation 11:15). Right now we are in the mediatorial Kingdom of the Son of God Jehoshua.

Matthew 5:3-10

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.10 Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness` sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

This is another passage that is often overlooked or ignored by the mainstream church world. Notice that Jehoshua says in one verse we inherit the kingdom of heaven and then in another verse he says we inherit the earth. This shows that the inheritance of the saints i.e. the Kingdom of heaven is actually the earth not the skies of heaven.

Proverbs 2:22

"But the wicked shall be cut off from the land, And the treacherous shall be rooted out of it"

The false churches of Christendom teach the opposite of this verse and that it will be the righteous who are taken out of the earth and the wicked left on it. Clearly the opposite is true in that it will be the wicked taken out of it because the righteous are going to inherit it as Jehoshua says.

Revelation 5:9-10

9 And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood [men] of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, 10 and madest them [to be] unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon earth.

The saints of Jehovah reign upon the earth not heaven. This statement is present tense meaning the reign of the saints is here and now not just in the future but obviously as Daniel says it is also future because it says that the Kingdom under the whole heaven that is given to the saints is an everlasting one.

Isaiah 24;6

"Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left"

This verse is within the context of the great and terrible day of Jehovah God which is the second advent of His only begotten Son Jehoshua. After the earth is utterly emptied of the wicked it says there will be few men left. These few men are the men and women who have walked the narrow road of the Kingdom where few find it. It shows that it is the wicked who are rooted out of the earth not the righteous. To further prove that it is the righteous that are the few men left that remain on the earth read below:

Psalm 37:29

"The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever"

Despite this clear verse about what the inheritance of the saints is the mainstream churches and even many non mainstream ones insist that our inheritance is the skies of heaven.

Zechariah 14:9

"And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one"

This verse is within the context of Jehoshua's second advent with Jehovah landing his feet on the mount of Olives and coming with his holy ones which are the saints and the angels. This will be right after the saints are resurrected/translated and caught up to be with Jehoshua in the clouds. As Acts chapter 1 says Jehoshua's return will be in the reverse order of his ascension which was:

Mount of Olives

Clouds

Heaven

Most Holy Place of the sanctuary

Here is the order of Jehoshua's return:

Most Holy Place of the sanctuary

Heaven

Clouds - This is where 1 Thessalonians comes into play and the deae and alive saints are resurrected/translated to glory and caught up to the clouds to be with Jehoshua forever. However, the destination isn't to go back to heaven but as the order of Acts chapter 1 shows the next step after the clouds is the:

Mount of Olives!!

And as Zechariah 14:5 says:

"And ye shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and Jehovah my God shall come, and all the holy ones with thee"

Jehovah's only begotten Son Jehoshua, also called Jehovah in Jeremiah 23:6, will come with his holy ones. Holy ones also means saints. This means that after being caught up in the clouds with Jehoshua we come with him to the mount of Olives as the above passage says:

Zechariah 14:4

"And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the mount of Olives shall be cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south"

This perfectly describes what the angel talks about in Acts chapter 1 in that Jehoshua is coming back in the exact reverse order in which he left earth and ascended to heaven. He left from the mount of Olives which shows that his destination when he begins his second advent is also the mount of Olives.

The Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and violent men take it.

 Matthew 11:12-13

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

What does this passage mean? Let's go to another statement by Jehoshua to get an idea:

Matthew 7:13-14

13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

In Luke 13:24 Jehoshua says to strive to enter into the narrow gate of the Kingdom. The word "strive" denotes immense effort which would correlate to taking the Kingdom of heaven with violence. This is a spiritual violence not a physical violence.

Jehoshua identifies John the Baptist as the capstone of the old testament prophets in Matthew 11.

The pressing multitudes that had followed John continued to follow Jehoshua's Kingdom mission (Luke 5:15; 12:1). This is the key to understanding Jehoshua's statement that the kingdom of God suffers violence. Pointing to the huge crowds that followed John and that were now following Him, Jehoshua likens them to an invading army surrounding a city to capture it.

Entering the Kingdom of heaven is not supposed to be an easy light task as it is not just handed out like a piece of candy but rather one must be willing to do anything to obtain it:

Matthew 13:45-46

45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a merchant seeking goodly pearls: 46 and having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

This is an example of violently taking the Kingdom of heaven as in this parable the man sold all that he had to obtain it. There is an opposite real life example of this during Jehoshua's mission:

Matthew 19:21-22

21 Jehoshua said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 22 But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions.

The young rich ruler, although a commandment keeper, was not willing to sell all he had to obtain the pear of great price which is the Kingdom of heaven. He was not willing to strive (strenuous effort, fight) to enter the Kingdom of God.

Jehoshua's teachings are all geared towards striving to enter in the narrow gate of the Kingdom. These teachings are summed up in the sermon on the mount (Matthew chapters 5-7).

Matthew 10:24-25

24 A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!

Being willing to pick up our cross and be hated for the name of Jehoshua is the way to the Kingdom. This is what Jehoshua means when he says he is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). This is the narrow road that we must strive to walk down until the end. That narrow road to the Kingdom of God is paved with suffering:

Philippians 1:29

"because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Messiah, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf"

Suffering is an intregal part of being in the Kingdom of God as it proves that we are worthy of the Kingdom:

Acts 14:21-22

21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch, 22 confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

Only those who endure to the end will be saved according to the Son of God. We will need endurance in our pressing into the Kingdom as part and parcel of entering into the Kingdom is going through tribulations.

Revelation 1:9

"I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jehoshua Messiah, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jehoshua Messiah."

Tribulation is an essential seal of being in the Kingdom of Jehoshua Messiah as only going through it can you partake of the Kingdom. Patience also is an identifying seal of being in the Kingdom because enduring tribulation produces patience. This also shows that the Kingdom of Messiah was already a reality in the 1st century.

Matthew 24:24-26

24Then said Jehoshua unto his disciples, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.25 For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it.26For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life.

Those who desire to follow the Son of God must deny themselves (stop doing their own will and pleasure) and pick up their cross (suffer for Jehoshua) and follow him. To follow Messiah means to keep his commandments (John 14:15). His commandments are the new covenant law and they are all commandments that call for us to deny ourselves.  To be a follower of the Son of God we must be willing to do what the young rich ruler wasn't and that is to lose our life in this world with it's riches, pride and lusts. Many a so called Christian has chosen to gain the world, however on judgment day they will learn that although they may have gained the world they lost their life in the age to come.

Luke 14:26-27

26 If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

This is the ultimate example of violently taking the Kingdom of heaven by force and that is to hate the lives of your family members that are not submitted to the Son of God. This means that you utterly detest (hate) the part of their lives that are against the commandments of Jehoshua. This means we are not let even our wives and children pull us away one inch from obeying Jehoshua in mindset and action. This includes mother and father.

All of the family members mentioned above are often the biggest opposers of true sold out disciples of the Son of God. We are not to give in to them at all if they are asking us to compromise our loyalty to Jehoshua and his commandments. If we allow our wives, children and parents to have us compromise even an inch Jehoshua says that we are not worthy of being his disciple. To hate the veey lives of our family members and even our own life is the ultimate example of bearing our cross. If we cannot do this (hate the lives of our family members) then we cannot be his disciple. Jehoshua does not give an out, you must be willing to do this and choose following Jehoshua's commandments over giving in to the worldly desires of your wife ormco signing on the sinful lifestyles of your brothers and sisters.

Victory at the cross

Many people today in Christendom fail to realize the victory that the Son of God accomplished at the cross. They fail to understand the significance of it and posit the cross in such a way that almost promotes Jehoshua as a victim rather than a victor. The churches misunderstanding of what Jehoshua's death on the cross meant has led to an defeatist mentality concerning this life and has led to an escapist eschatology among most Christians.

It's important to remember that Jehoshua willingly went to the cross and had the power to not go as given him by the Father. This shows that Jehoshua was not some hapless victim but rather he was accomplishing his victory by willingly submitting to the Father's will that he be the lamb offering of the new covenant.

John 10:17-18

17 Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.

18 No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.

This passage shows the absolute strength of the Son of God Jehoshua in that he was not a victim of circumstance as he knew exactly what he had to do and he willingly did it even though he didn't have to.

Romans 1:1-4

1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called [to be] an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2 which he promised afore through his prophets in the holy scriptures, 3 concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 who was declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; [even] Jesus Christ our King.

The resurrection of Jehoshua provided him with the throne of David as prophesied throughout the scriptures. He was declared to be the Son of God with power by the Holy Spirit upon his resurrection which means he was no longer the suffering servant but the conquering King. Of course, Jehoshua was the Son of God before his resurrection but after his resurrection he was now the Son of God with power meaning he was enthroned as King on the throne of David hence the reference to him being of the seed of David.

Both Acts 2 and 13 connect the resurrection of Jehoshua with him fulfilling the Davidic covenant and receiving the sure mercies of David i.e. the throne of David.

Acts 3:12-15

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this man? or why fasten ye your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him to walk?13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jehoshua; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him. 14 But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you, 15 and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

By raising up Jehoshua from the dead the Father Jehovah was glorifying His servant to Kingship (the Prince of life, verse 15). The apostolic ekklesia preached the resurrection as the Messiah's victory over death and his ascension to the throne of David. This was the message that infuriated both the established religion of the Pharisees and the Roman empire as Jehoshua's Kingship was an affront to both the Edomite king Herod and the Roman emperor.

Acts 17:6-7

6 And when they found them not, they dragged Jason and certain brethren before the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; 7 whom Jason hath received: and these all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jehoshua.

What was the gospel message that was turning the world upside down? It was the doctrine that Jehoshua is King. Notice the present tense aspect of that statement as they were preaching that there is (present tense) another King, one Jehoshua. They were not preaching futurism or a defeatist escapist doctrine of waiting for Jehoshua to one day be King as they believed and taught that he was already King. The doctrine of Jehoshua's Kingship was turning the world upside down whereas today's gospel is barely making a dent in modern society despite there being so many professing Christians.

Hebrews chapter 1 is a detailed description of what took place at Jehoshua's ascension into heaven and it is all about the fulfillment of the Davidic covenant and Jehoshua being installed on the throne of David.

Hebrews 2:14-15

14 Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 and might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Through his death Jehoshua brought to nothing the devil and the power of death itself. Even though the devil is still active and we still have death, both of those things have lost their power for those who believe that Jehoshua is the Son of God. We now no longer need to fear death because like Jehoshua we will be resurrected to immortality. The devil also has no power over those who put their trust in the risen Messiah as we have been translated from his kingdom into the Kingdom of God's dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Through Jehoshua's life, death and resurrection we have been given authority to tread on serpents and scorpions:

Luke 10:18-20

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. 20 Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven

The spirits of Satan's kingdom are subject to the saints therefore he (Satan) has no power over us as the Son of God, through his Kingdom mission, bound Satan and spoiled his kingdom. Jehoshua gave us authority to tread on Satan and his Kingdom and put Satan's principalities under our authority. Too many Christians make the devil more powerful than he really is and make him into a boggeyman. The truth is that Satan and his kingdom are in fear of those who truly follow the Son of God. We have this authority due to the life, death and resurrection of the Messiah which shows that the cross was a monumental victorious moment in history.

John 12:23-24

23 And Jehoshua answereth them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

The cross was Jehoshua's glory as he stated that unless he died he would be alone and the subsequent victory would not be realized. That victory was his death that produced much fruit i.e. his Kingdom. Jehoshua had to die and be resurrected so that he can be glorified into Kingship. If he had not offered himself on the cross and lived out his life he would have just been another righteous teacher but because he loved not his life in this world he gained eternal life via resurrection and drew all men unto himself:

John 12:31-32

31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself.

As a result of Jehoshua's victory on the cross Satan was defeated in the war in heaven (Revelation 12) and he was cast out into the earth. Jehoshua's death on the cross and subsequent resurrection gave the world no excuse for their sin and by their rejection of the Son of God they are judged (John 3:16-18). All men (nations, tribes and tongues) have been drawn to the Son of God through his resurrection and ascension which gave him the sure mercies of David (Acts 13:32-35).

Colossians 2:14-16

14 having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross; 15 having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day:

Jehoshua blotted out the debt of sin that was against us (Israel) and nailed it to the cross taking it out of the way. By his death and resurrection Jehoshua brought in the new covenant which promises that Jehovah God will blot out our sins (Jeremiah 31:31-34).  Through the cross Jehoshua despoiled (stripped) the principalities and powers (government authorities) of Satan's kingdom. Jehoshua made a show of Satan's kingdom and openly conquered it through his resurrection triumphantly being enthroned as King on David's throne (Acts 2:29-36).

"he made a show of them openly"

This he did by the preaching of the apostles and the early ekklesia. This continues through true followers of the Messiah throughout all generations. As we proclaim the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 we openly expose Satan's kingdom as being conquered by the risen and glorified Son of God.

Because of Jehoshua's resurrection we are not subject any longer to the man made traditions of religion whether they be purporting to be Christian or otherwise (verse 16).

Revelation 1:5-6

5 and from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood; 6 and he made us [to be] a kingdom, [to be] priests unto his God and Father; to him [be] the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen

Via Jehoshua's resurrection he was begotten into Kingship and made higher than the kings of the eAmen (Psalm 89:27). Again, this shows that the resurrection of Jehoshua brought him onto the throne of David. The title of first begotten denotes his place as King in Jehovah's Kingdom as well as him being the first human ever to be resurrected to eternal life.

By Jehoshua's atoning blood he cleansed his people (Israel) from their sins. Jehoshua's death on the cross was a manifest token of his love for Israel (Judah and Ephraim). By Jehoshua fulfilling the day of atonement his people were also begotten into Kingship i.e. kings and priests. The Son of God's death and resurrection was not only a victory but also his people as it was the inauguration of a Kingdom.

1 Peter 3:21-22

21which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jehoshua Messiah; 22 who is one the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Peter, like the rest of the new testament, connects the resurrection of Jehoshua with his enthronement on the right hand of Jehovah God. This alludes to Psalm 110:1 which is a Davidic covenant fulfillment. The fulfilling of the covenant is that a royal seed of David would establish the Davidic dynasty forever. Via Jehoshua's resurrection and ascension the angels, authorities and powers are now subject unto him. Truly Jehoshua is the King of kings and Lord of lords showing that the cross is far from an event that is defeatist but rather it is Jehoshua's crowning achievement.

The gospel unto the ends of the earth

 Isaiah 49:6

"yea, he saith, It is too light a thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth"

This is Isaiah's prophecy of Israel taking the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. What is this gospel? You will be surprised that the answer isn't what you think. In fact, even the non mainstream churches do not know what this gospel is. There are many versions of the gospel from the mainstream evangelical one to the Hebrew roots gospel and everything in between. The commonality between 99% of them is that they are teaching a false gospel. While most Christians would look at what I just wrote and think "how arrogant" yet the very fact that Jehoshua hasn't come back yet proves my statement:

Matthew 24:14

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come"

If the churches and the non mainstream denominations were preaching the right gospel Jehoshua would have came back a long time ago as missionaries have basically covered just about the entire earth.

There is so much confusion as to what is the true gospel that arguments are endless and mind numbing about what that gospel is. Thankfully the answer to what is the true gospel is actually laid out for us in plain sight. Often times the devil obscures the most plain and easy to understand truths under piles of theological rubbish.

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.

We have to remember that first someone needs to be made a disciple before they are taught the commandments of Jehoshua. The Son of God's teachings are paramount to the gospel yet before one truly can obey the doctrine of Jehoshua they have to be begotten from above by the Spirit and made a disciple. Jehoshua says the same as the progression is to first make disciples and then teach them to observe all of his commandments. As we proceed in this study on what the true gospel is, it will match with what Jehoshua taught about himself. Jehoshua's commandments are the meat of the gospel, who he is and what he accomplished are the entrance into the Kingdom gospel.

Acts 1:6-9

6 They therefore, when they were come together, asked him, saying, Lord, dost thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know times or seasons, which the Father hath set within His own authority. 8 But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Jehoshua did not reject the concept of restoring the Kingdom to Israel but told his apostles that it wasn't for them know the exact time or seasons. This matches what he told them regarding his return. We can safely say that the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel is the same as Jehoshua's second advent. The restoration, the apostles and Jehoshua are speaking of, has to do with the physical Kingdom being consummated on earth not the new covenant era mediatorial Kingdom on earth manifest in the ekklesia.

What Jehoshua says in verse 8 is key in understanding what the gospel is that is to preached in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. A few things to point out regarding this verse is that the holy spirit would be poured out on the apostles before they begin preaching the gospel that would go out unto the ends of the earth. The gospel would start being preached in Jerusalem first, showing that whatever was preached after the outpouring of the holy spirit would be thee gospel that was to be taken to the ends of the earth.

The gospel would then go throughout Judea which was the territory of the Southern Kingdom comprised of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Then the gospel was to be taken to Samaria, the territory of the Northern Kingdom comprised of the 10 tribes of Ephraim. This shows that the priority of the apostolic ekklesia was to reunite the two sticks of Judah and Ephraim thereby fulfilling prophecy (Ezekiel 34 and 37). This could only be done after the arrival and enthronement of the prophesied Davidic King. The Davidic Kingship of Jehoshua will play a key role in the gospel preaching of the apostles after the holy spirit falls upon them.

After the gospel was taken to these two regions it would then go to the uttermost parts of the earth. This is key because it proves that the same gospel preached to the Israelites was to be preached to the ends of the earth. This destroys the false teaching that there is one gospel message for "Jews" and one for "Gentiles". Many Christians have leaned on their own understanding of how the gospel should be preached and the contents thereof. Their reasoning is that "Gentiles" could not possibly understand the Israelite aspects of the faith, so thereby they have to formulate a version of the gospel that leaves or greatly minimizes the Israelite aspects of it.

Remember, we are not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) but in all ways acknowledge Jehovah God:

Proverbs 3:5-7

5 Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding: 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; Fear Jehovah, and depart from evil:

The problem with modern Christians is that they are wise in their own eyes and have created an alternative gospel made specifically for so called "Gentiles". This shows that they truly don't trust Jehovah God with all their heart as they don't truly believe that the gospel preached by the apostolic ekklesia is good enough to save modern man. Yet the gospel preached by the apostolic ekklesia is the only legitimate gospel as all others are false gospels. In fact, Paul says those who bring any other gospel than the one he preached is accursed:

Galatians 1:8-10

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. 9 As we have said before, so say I now again, if any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. 10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.

Paul's words are immovable and leave no room for compromise. Anyone preaching a different gospel than what the apostles preached is accursed. This applies to most of the Christian church as well as most of the non mainstream denominations and movements.

How do we know what the gospel is? It's simple if we listen to what Jehoshua told the apostles in Acts chapter 1. We will be able to identify what the gospel is when we see the holy spirit falling upon the apostles and subsequently them preaching in Jerusalem. The contents of that preaching will tell us exactly what the gospel is and it will be that gospel that is to go out to the whole world not just Israelites.

Thankfully we don't need to wait long between the time Jehoshua gives his Kingdom seminar to the apostles in Acts 1 and the holy spirit falling upon them in chapter 2 of Acts.

Acts 2:1-4

1 And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

This is the fulfillment of what Jehoshua told the apostles in Acts chapter 1. Judeans from every nation under heaven (Roman empire?) were at the feast of Pentecost and they all heard the apostles preached to them in their own languages. This was the gift of tongues, it wasn't babbling in nonsense but rather the ability to speak foreign languages. This was needed because the Judeans from these other nations spoke in the native languages of those nations.

Many of the Judeans, who were from Jerusalem and Judea, mocked the apostles saying they were filled with wine as they likely couldn't understand what the apostles were preaching. Peter and the others apostles then stand up and Peter starts preaching the first sermon of the new covenant era:

Acts 2:14-21

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them, [saying], Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words. 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.16but this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel:17And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:18Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.19And I will show wonders in the heaven above, And signs on the earth beneath; Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:20The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of the Lord come, That great and notable day. 21And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved.

Peter lets the crowd in Jerusalem know that he and his fellow apostles are not drunk with wine but that what they are witnessing is a fulfillment of prophecy. Peter goes on to quote the prophet Joel who says that in the last days Jehovah's spirit would be poured out on all flesh. By Peter quoting this, and applying it to what was happening there at Pentecost, it shows that the last days had already begun. When Christians today ask "are we in the last days?" it makes no sense because we have been in the last days since the 1st century. Verses 19 and 20 of Acts 2 refer to the events just prior to the second advent.

Verse 21 of Acts 2, calling on the name of Jehovah and being saved is within the context of Peter's sermon. This means that those who call on Jehovah in order to be saved must believe the gospel that Peter is about to preach. The evidence of this belief is in repenting and being baptized in the name of Jehoshua. Joel's statement about calling on Jehovah to be saved has nothing to do with simply saying a sinner's prayer and doing an altar call like Evangelicalism teaches.

Acts 2:22-24

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jehoshua of Nazareth, a man approved of God unto you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know; 23 him, being delivered up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye by the hand of lawless men did crucify and slay: 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pangs of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Peter is now going to translate to the crowd what him and the other apostles were preaching when the gift of tongues fell on them. The first thing Peter does is preach that Jehoshua was a man approved by God. This is far different from the mainstream churches that teach that Jehoshua is a God-man. Everything Jehoshua did was because the Father Jehovah empowered him. Jehoshua himself confirms all throughout his ministry. Essential to the gospel that would go unto the ends of the earth is that Jehoshua is a man 100% (1 Timothy 2:5). To teach that Jehoshua is God or a God-man is to preach a false gospel.

Verse 23, Jehovah God delivered up Jehoshua to Herod and Pontius Pilate as part of His predestined plan that His Son would be the mercy seat for the sins of Israel. See 1 Peter 1:18-21. In Ephesians chapter 1, Paul says that Jehovah God works all things according to the counsel of His own will.  It was Jehovah's perfect will that Jehoshua be His spotless lamb to die on the cross. Verse 23 also alludes to Psalm 2:

1 Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us.

David prophesied through the spirit that his royal seed would be rejected by the rulers of this earth and plotted against. Jehovah foreknew this was going to take place because it was according to His own counsel that He worked out by Himself. The apostolic ekklesia attributed this prophetic Psalm to Herod and Pontius Pilate putting Jehoshua to death.

Part of the gospel that would go unto the ends of the earth is Jehoshua being delivered up to the Edomite Jews (Herod) and the Romans (Pontius Pilate) to be crucified. Also essential to the gospel is that it was predestined by Jehovah God according to His own counsel. This part of the gospel is often left out in the churches preaching.

Verse 24 of Acts 2, it was not possible that death would hold Jehoshua in the grave as he was the promised Messianic King who was to rule over Israel in the new covenant era. Jehovah God raised up Jehoshua from the dead. This is important because many Christians teach that Jehoshua raised himself and this is false as over and over again the scriptures teach that God raised him from the dead. This also teaches that there is a distinction between Jehoshua and God, a fact that the churches ignore knowingly.

Acts 2:25-28

25 For David saith concerning him, I beheld Jehovah always before my face; For he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: 26 Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; Moreover my flesh also shall dwell in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul unto Hades, Neither wilt thou give thy Holy One to see corruption. 28 Thou madest known unto me the ways of life; Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.

Peter quotes Psalm 16 and attributes the words of David as him prophesying about Jehoshua and that Jehoshua's hope and trust would be in Jehovah God. This is exactly what we see throughout Jehoshua's earthly misison, him putting his trust in his Father and his God, Jehovah. Too many Christians ignore the fact that Peter is likening Jehoshua as an antitype of David. Just as David had Jehovah at his right hand during his life so did Jehoshua. Most modern Christians ignore this because it clearly shows a complete distinction in being between Jehoshua and God.

Verses 26-28, here David prophesies of Jehoshua's resurrection. While ultimately David will not he left in the grave, as he awaits the last day resurrection, this was actually a prophecy about Jehoshua Messiah. Jehoshua was the one who saw no corruption to his body as he was resurrected on the third day.

The contents of the gospel that is to go out to the ends of the earth is that Jehoshua, like us, puts his hope and trust in Jehovah God. Also, as we will see in the next several verses the resurrection of Jehoshua is central to the gospel message.

Acts 2:29-31

29 Brethren, I may say unto you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day. 30 Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins he would set one upon his throne; 31 he foreseeing this spake of the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he left unto Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption.

Now we get to the meat of the message. Remember, this is the first sermon recorded of the new covenant so whatever Peter preaches here will be the template for all future public gospel sermons. Peter says that David is dead and buried and in his tomb. He mentions this to show that David's prophecy in Psalm 16 isn't about himself but rather about Jehoshua. This also dispels the immortal soul doctrine as there is no mention of David being in heaven and to the contrary is dead (not alive as an immortal soul) in his grave.

Verse 30, Peter refers to David as a prophet and then brings up the covenant Jehovah made with him. This is the Davidic covenant (2 Samuel 7) and the fulfillment of this covenant is David's royal offspring establishing the Davidic dynasty forever from the throne of David. This covenant is about all of David's royal offspring, however it leads up to one particular royal seed that would completely fulfill the covenant.

"the fruit of his loins", the prophesied Davidic Messiah was to be the literal seed (sperm) of David. Many Christians try to spiritualize this truth away by saying that Jehoshua qaulifies as the seed of David by way of Joseph being his stepfather, however that  will not suffice as the oath made to David was that it would be an offspring that sprang from his bowels (male seat of generation). In Psalm 89 Jehovah says that he would not alter the thing that has gone out of His lips concerning the covenant He made with David. This means that if Jehovah told David that the royal seed to establish his dynasty forever would be of his literal seed then that's exactly what the Messiah would be, the literal (not spiritual) offspring of David. Again, the fulfillment of the Davidic covenant is that one of David's royal son's would ascend to the throne and establish it forever:

2 Samuel 7:12-14

12 When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;

This is the Davidic covenant and what Peter is referring to Acts chapter 2. In this covenant we see three important promises from Jehovah God to David.

1) That the eschatological King would proceed out of his (David's) loins (male sexual organs).

2) That David's royal seed would establish the throne of his (David's) Kingdom forever.

3) That Jehovah would be a Father to the Davidic King as they would have a Father-Son covenant relationship.

Number 2 is especially important in regards to Acts 2:29-31. It's important because most of today's Christendom teaches that Jehoshua is not yet on the throne of David and that he will not occupy the throne until a future 1,000 year millennium in earthly Jerusalem. This has had devastating theological effects on the church. It has shifted the church's affections from New Jerusalem to Earthly Jerusalem and because of that the church has largely relinquished it's birthright as being the Israel of Jehovah to those who deny him and falsely claims to be "Judeans".

The outright false understanding of Acts 2:29-31 has also caused most Christians to say that the Kingdom of the Messiah hasn't started yet and that it will only come during the future millennium from earthly Jerusalem. Again, this has had devastating consequences for the church and in effect, they have lost their witness. The church no longer turns the world upside down as they don't preach the Kingship of the Son of God. They have ignored Paul, the author of Hebrews, Pete and most importantly Jehoshua that the eternal Kingdom will be in New Jerusalem not earthly Jerusalem. I will not go further with all the particulars of the negative impact this false understanding of Acts 2:29-31 has had but instead I will focus on the passage itself to prove the truth.

"he foreseeing this spake of the resurrection of the Messiah, that neither was he left unto Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption"

Remember, David was a prophet in addition to be the King and he foresaw the oath Jehovah made with him being fulfilled as a result of the resurrection of Jehoshua. Unlike David, who was still in his grave, Jehoshua was resurrected and fulfilled the Davidic covenant according to Peter the apostle.

"he foreseeing this", what is this?

"knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins he would set one upon his throne"

What David prophesied (foresaw) in regards to the resurrection of Jehoshua was that the fruit of his loins (Jehoshua) would be set upon his (David's) throne.

There is no wiggle room here, Peter clearly says that Jehoshua, as a result of the resurrection, fulfilled the Davidic covenant and was installed on the throne of David. This is not even a hard truth to understand as it use to be a given in Christianity. However, the infiltration of Judaism into Christianity has attempted to pervert this truth of Jehoshua ascending to the throne of David after his resurrection. Let's now proceed to the rest of the sermon as the Davidic covenant continues to be featured:

Acts 2:32-33

32 This Jehoshua did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33.Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.

Verse 32 acknowledges that God raised up Jehoshua from the dead. This clearly shows that Jehoshua didn't raise up himself but that God did and it also shows the distinction in being between God and His Messiah.

Verse 33, now Peter alludes to Psalm 110 which is a Davidic covenant prophetic text. Peter says that Jehoshua is on the right hand of God denoting that he(Jehoshua) is on the throne of Jehovah God. Note that the throne of David is also called the throne of Jehovah God in the old testament:

1 Chronicles 28:5

"And of all my sons (for Jehovah hath given me many sons), he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah over Israel"

Here we see that the throne of David is also called the throne of Jehovah. Jehoshua sitting on the throne of Jehovah God in heaven is the same as sitting on the throne of David in heaven. In fact, in Psalm 89 it was prophesied that the throne of David would be in heaven when the promised Messiah would sit on it:

Psalm 89:35-37

35 Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David: 36 His seed shall endure for ever, And his throne as the sun before me. 37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, And as the faithful witness in the sky. Selah

Psalm 89 is a commentary on the Davidic covenant and Jehovah says that His word of the oath is irrevocable. The oath says that David's royal seed (Jehoshua) will sit on the throne of David forever and that the throne will be established as a faithful witness in the sky, like the sun and the moon.

After being exalted to Kingship, Jehoshua poured out the holy spirit on the apostles so that they can preach the gospel in the gift of tongues. Notice that in connection with Jehoshua's exaltation to the throne of David, was the holy spirit being poured out to empower the apostles to preach that Jehoshua fulfilled the Davidic covenant. This further proves that indeed Jehoshua was enthroned on the throne of David at his ascension into heaven.

Acts 2:34-36

34 For David ascended not into the heavens: but he saith himself, Jehovah said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet. 36 Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both King and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.

Peter says that David has not ascended into heaven, this shows the error of the dying and go to heaven doctrine of the mainstream church. Peter also makes the point that David has not ascended to heaven because he is not the ultimate fulfillment of the Davidic covenant and  thereby the Lord of the Psalm 110 prophecy. Rather than being the Lord that is installed as king in Psalm 110, David is the one prophesying the coronation event.

Psalm 110:1 is the most alluded to old testament verse in the new testament. This should tell us how important the Davidic covenant is concerning the the gospel, yet much of Christendom either ignores it or greatly diminishes it. A big part of the reason in Christendom for the minimizing of the importance of the Davidic covenant concerning the gospel is that it will expose their precious trinity doctrine. Even the non trinitarian churches leave the Davidic covenant out of their statement of faith's as they still teach "another Jehoshua" who was a pre-existent angel or spirit being.

Here in Psalm 110:1 David prophesies and sees Jehovah telling his (David's) Lord to sit on His (Jehovah's) right hand. When you go back to this verse in the old testament, there are two different Hebrew words for the translation of "Lord". The ASV uses the name Jehovah for the first "LORD" (JHVH) and then "Lord" (adoni) for the second one. Some translations try to captilize both uses of the word "Lord" in order to deceive and/or confuse the readers into thinking that both Lords are Jehovah God. The object of this is to promote the multipersonal godhead.

The true understanding of this prophecy is rather simple and beautiful in that Jehovah God is fulfilling the oath He made with David and installing his royal seed on the throne of the Kingdom. The new testament proves that this prophecy was ultimately about Jehoshua although it can be applied to all the royal Davidic kings in a shadowy figure. The first "LORD" is Jehovah God and the second "Lord" is the Davidic King i.e. the one who proceeded from David's bowels (male seat of generation). The Hebrew word for the second "Lord" is "adoni" and denotes a human or angelic ruler. It is the Hebrew word "adonai" that denotes deity.

These distinctions are important because it keeps intact the fact that Jehovah God is a singular being and not a multipersonal godhead. It also preserves the fact that Jehoshua is a human being of the literal seed of David and not some pagan godman. Understanding these distinctions are crucial to have a correct gospel. In this prophecy you have God enthroning David's human son to Kingship fulfilling the promise made to David in 2nd Samuel 7.

Despite the quotation of this passage and the earlier Acts 2:29-31 proof the churches will still deny that Jehoshua sat on the throne of David at his ascension. Psalm 110 is a crystal clear prophecy of the fulfillment of the Davidic covenant and in this prophecy David foresees Jehovah coronating Jehoshua into Kingship.

"Sit thou at my right hand"

As stated earlier, the throne of David is equivalent to the throne of Jehovah God (1 Chronicles 28). When we combine the statement above by Jehovah in Psalm 110:1 with Peter's earlier statement in verse 30 of Acts that Jehovah set Messiah upon David's throne, then we also have a new testament example of the two thrones being equivalent to each other. The quotation of Psalm 110 here in Acts 2 further proves that Jehoshua fulfilled the Davidic covenant at his resurrection and subsequent ascension.

Jehoshua is to sit at Jehovah's right hand until Jehovah makes his (Jehoshua's) enemies his footstool. This alludes to the second advent when Jehoshua will come back to kill his enemies and consummate his Kingdom here on the earth. In that day the Davidic throne will come to earth to be the center piece of the new heavens and new earth. The Davidic throne will never ever again be in earthly Jerusalem. The Davidic throne is now and forever in New Jerusalem. The only change will be that it will relocate from the third heaven to the new heavens and new earth after the second advent of the Son of God.

Verse 36, Peter sums up the sermon with letting the house of Israel know assuredly (absolute fact) that Jehovah has made Jehoshua both King and Messiah. Jehoshua is not a future King as Peter says God made him King all the way back in the first century and in connection with his resurrection and ascension into heaven. This is the end of the first gospel sermon of the new covenant and what Jehoshua identified as the gospel that was to be taken to the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Acts 2:37

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do? 38 And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as Jehovah our God shall call unto him.

It was this message about the Davidic covenant that pricked the heart of the Israelites present at the feast. Again, please note that this gospel of the Davidic covenant was to be taken to the uttermost parts of the earth not just to the Israelites. What was required of those that sincerely believed the message of Jehoshua's passion, death, resurrection and Kingship? It was to repent and be baptized. The modern church has replaced this Biblical formula with the accept Christ sinners prayer.

The word "repent" has strangely become a controversial concept in the church due to the easy believeism evangelical gospel. The call to repentance is a call to turn from iniquity (sin, lawlessness) and to change one's mind about the Kingdom of God, thereby turning to God through His Son Jehoshua Messiah. The seal of this faith and repentance is not a sinner's prayer but rather baptism. Baptism has greatly been minimized in the church yet scripture shows us that baptism was the first order of business for those that accepted the gospel message as true and had faith in it. Baptism identifies us with Messiah's death, resurrection and Kingship.

Verse 39, the fact that people responded to the gospel does not denote freewill but rather they responded because Jehovah God called them, in other words He elected them to salvation. This is a promise to the Israelites and their children whether near (Judah) or far (Ephraim).

For anyone who doubts the effectiveness of the Davidic covenant as the pure gospel verse 41 says that 3,000 souls were added to the ekklesia that day and were baptized.  So many modern Christians will try to explain this away and use every argument in the world to get out of preaching this and concoct their own gospel message but remember what scripture says:

Proverbs 3:5-7

5 Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding: 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; Fear Jehovah, and depart from evil:

Most of Christendom's Pastors and theologians have done exactly what scripture warned against and that is they have leaned on their own understanding in making a gospel that they think fits better for the modern age. Scripture says to not be wise in our own eyes. Paul narrows the gospel down to these two essential facts:

2nd Timothy 2:8

"Remember Jehoshua Messiah, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel"

The gospel is all about the resurrection of Jehoshua and his Davidic Kingship. Let's get back to the true gospel so that our King comes back to consummate his Kingdom (Matthew 24:14).

Jeremiah 30, the hope of Israel

 Jeremiah 30:1-11

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, 2 Thus speaketh Jehovah, the God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. 3 For, lo, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. 4 And these are the words that Jehovah spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. 5 For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child: wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob`s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. 8 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondman; 9 but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. 10 Therefore fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith Jehovah; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid. 11 For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to save thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, but I will not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.

We live in a time of huge uncertainty and dismay especially for the Israel of God. There is a rising hatred for the Adamic Israelite people in all the nations of the world, from east to west and north to south. The Celtic people as well as all Europeans are target number one in the Jewish Edomite new world order agenda. Mass immigration and white guilt have largely demoralized those of European descent whether Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian or Celtic. White people are constantly bombarded with propaganda that they and their ancestors are the cause of all the ills of society.

While the situation for the Adamic Israelite people looks grim there is hope and not just hope but a promise of our deliverance from the yoke of Babylon. While the church denominations usually identify one singular entity/organization/country as Babylon the scriptures teach us that end time Babylon is a world system.

Jehovah God through Jeremiah the prophet says that He will one day gather both Judah and Israel (Ephraim) from captivity.  Now we know that at the first advent of the Son of God the house of Israel was gathered back into the sheepfold of Jehovah God, however they still remained scattered geographically along with the remnant of Judah who believed in the Messiah.  James and Peter write to the 12 tribes of Israel scattered abroad showing that indeed the first advent of Messiah was a spiritual unification of the two houses but geographically they both would remain scattered.

This shows that the prophecy above is concerning the last day i.e. the second advent of the Messiah. This regathering is in regards to bringing the 12 tribes into the land promised to Abraham i.e. Canaan albeit a heavenly one. This is what Jehoshua spoke of in Matthew 24 when he said:

Matthew 24:31

"And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other"

The elect are Israel according to scripture:

Romans 9:11

"for the children being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth"

The election is to the seed of Abraham via Isaac. It is the sons of Isaac that will be gathered from their captivity at the last day and brought into the land of Canaan. Right now Israel is spread throughout the earth under Babylonian rule. The Israel of Jehovah is in spiritual captivity right now as Babylon the great promotes it's anti-messiah agenda which includes hatred for the Adamic Israelite race.

The New Jerusalem will be the capital of heavenly Canaan and it will be the 12 tribes of Israel that will be brought into the city:

Reveheaven 22:12

"having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel"

Clearly, the New Jerusalem is reserved for the 12 tribes of Israel and no one else. Prior to being brought into the heavenly city, the elect of Israel will be scattered abroad and in a type of captivity as Babylon the great puts a yoke around their necks. This captivity doesn't mean Israel will be in some forced type of slavery but rather that they countries they reside in will be hostile to them and their faith. We are seeing this right now all over the world through the religions of this world, the political scene and the economic system. However, as Jeremiah prophesies, the time will come when the Israel of Jehovah will be gathered to the land of Canaan and possess it (verse 3). Daniel speaks of this as well:

Daniel 7:26-27

26 But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.27 And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

There will be a judgment issued against the final anti-Messiah and his kingdom and it will be then that the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord (Jehoshua) and his anointed ones (Revelation 11:15). We as the Israel of Jehovah will be given the greatness and dominons of the Kingdoms under heaven, showing that our inheritance is on the earth not in heaven. This will be  accomplished when Jehoshua comes back to avenge his brethren at the last day of this age. Verse 4 of Jeremiah 30 proves that the land inheritance of Canaan is for the house of Judah and the House of Israel (Ephraim).

Verses 5-7, Jacob's trouble describes the time where the Adamic Israelite race is put under immense pressure and persecution from Babylon the great yet Jehovah God will save them and deliver them. This is th final persecution before the Messiah comes back. It will look bleak for Jacob (Judah and Ephraim) but they will be saved out their trouble and be resurrected/translated to immortality in the eternal Kingdom of Messiah.

When we look at the state of affairs today throughout the world we can safely say that Jacob's trouble has begun. The hatred towards the Adamic Israelite race is at an all time high as they are being blamed for all the ills of society namely the colonization of the America's and Africa. The primacy of Jehovah's chosen race (the white Adamites) has generated tremendous envy and jealousy from the other races of the world. What these enemies of Jehovah have failed to realize that the European colonization of much of the world was a fulfillment of the promise made to Abraham by God:

Genesis 22:17

"that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies'

This promise was given to Abraham. This prophecy has only been consistently fulfilled by the White European people's. Even other races unknowingly acknowledge this by referring to the European race as colonizers and the one's who conquered the world.

Abraham's son Isaac married Rebekah and before she went off to be Isaac's wife her brother prophesied to her:

Genesis 24:60

"And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let thy seed possess the gate of those that hate them"

Just as Abraham was told that his seed would possess the gates of his enemies, his future daughter in law was told the same by her brother. The seed of Isaac would possess the gates of those that hate them.

The sons of Isaac did exactly that which is why the Americas were conquered and civilized as well as South Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific Islands. These lands were Christianized and much of the idolatry was eliminated.

Jeremiah 51:19-23

19The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.20Thou art my battle-axe and weapons of war: and with thee will I break in pieces the nations; and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;21and with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider;22and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and him that rideth therein; and with thee will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin;23and with thee will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke [of oxen]; and with thee will I break in pieces governors and deputies.

Only the European people's fit this prophecy as Jehovah God has used them as a battle axe against the pagan nations throughout the earth. The Celtic-Anglo-Germanic Israelites have fulfilled this prophecy by destroying horse and rider (Native Americans) and chariot and rider (Eurpean pagans) as well as the deputies and governors of the Americas, South Africa, the Carribean and Pacific islands.

"And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondman" (Jeremiah 30:8).

We are only in the beginning stages of Jacob's trouble as it will progressively get worse yet Jehovah will break the yoke of Babylon off our necks. This will be at the last day when His Son comes back to consummate his Kingdom. The Celtic-Germanic-Scandinavian-Anglo people are being targeted by way of a huge propaganda agenda driven by the Synagogue of Satan i.e. the Edomite Jews. They are being taught to have their heritage, history and themselves. This is a demoralization process. Mass immigration has turned once pristine European nations into multicultural cesspools. White European women are getting raped by these African and Middle Eastern migrants. Europeans are often scared to walk the streets of their own countries as these unthankful foreigners think they own the place. As the above verse states this will only be a temporary situation.

"but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them" (Jeremiah 30:9).

Jehoshua as the new David arrived 2,000 years ago and since then, the Israel of God has been serving Jehovah through the priesthood of their Davidic King. However, within the context of Jeremiah 30 this is about the second advent of Jehoshua when his Davidic throne will come down to the earth and we as Israel will serve Jehovah in His temple being led and commanded by King Jehoshua. This is when both the Father (Jehovah) and the Son (David-Jehoshua) come down to earth and rule from New Jerusalem.

Verses 10 and 11 of Jeremiah 30, we as the Celtic-Anglo-Saxon people's are Jehovah's servant race. We are the sons of Jehovah God and therefore we need not far as He will save us from afar from.our captivity in Spiritual Babylon. This rescue mission at the last day is specifically for the seed (sperm) of Israel meaning it is for the literal descendants of Jacob. This will be the gathering of the elect (Israel) from the four winds of heaven. In the New Jerusalem there will be no more tears for Jacob nor death nor sting of the sun as we will be led to fountains of living water.

Jehovah is the Saviour of Israel therefore we need not fear for He will make a full end of the nations which include all the races of this earth excepting Israel and those who support them. There will be those from other races that loved God's covenant people and they will have a place in the Kingdom, however those from other races that vexed Israel will have no place in the Kingdom. Jehovah is sending His Son Jehoshua to destroy, with violence, the nations (races) that are persecuting the Adamic Israelite white people at the time of the second advent. This includes all Jews (Edomites), those of African descent and Native Indian descent as these are the primary races thatare vexing Jacob. This also includes the governments of this world.

Do we keep the law of Moses today? Pt. 1

This is the burning question throughout the Christian-Messianic landscape. Admittedly I have been on the spectrum of keeping the law of Moses to a more Anabaptist (Centrality of Messiah's teachings) approach.  I have also been a Seventh day Adventist which falls somewhere in between.

There are many so called teachers today who have their opinions on this subject, however as always we should obey what the Holy Spirit says. There is a growing movement called "Hebrew Roots", as well as their red headed step cousin "Messianic Judaism", and these movements I believe are dangerous and infact heretical.

We have to sincerely ask ourselves, will we allow men to teach us or the Holy Spirit? What does Jehoshua say?

John 16:13

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, [these] shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come"

The Angel of the Holy Spirit is the one to guide us into all truth not a man or a woman. So many men and women are eager to take on the job of the Holy Spirit and tell you how you should walk out your faith. These deluded people are no better than the Pope or other authoritarian type pseudo apostles.

The Holy Spirit Angel will declare to us things he hears from Jehovah God directly whereas these so called torah teachers are usually getting their understanding of the bible from Judaism and their Rabbi's.

1 John 2:27

"And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him"

The anointing of Jehovah's holy spirit abides in those who believe that Jehoshua is His only begotten Son. Therefore, because of the anointing of the spirit we need not that anyone teach us. Does John means what he says? According to modern Pastor's and so called Rabbi's, the answer is "No". These so called self appointed teachers cannot afford to let you take this verse literally as it would undermine their self given authority and their so called right to rule over your faith.

This is important in understanding because this current wave of self appointed torah teachers need to be rebuked and hit with this passage. If one doesn't understand the truth of John's words they will allow themselves to be decieved by these Jew-a-bees and put themselves under the authority of the Hebrew roots/Messianic Jews Rabbi's. By not realizing that they themselves have the spirit of Jehovah and can understand the scriptures without a man teaching them, they will put themselves under a heavy yoke that these false teachers themselves don't carry.

One of the sly deceptions of the Hebrews roots/Messianic Jew movement is that they glean a lot of their understanding of the scriptures from Rabbinic Judaism. Rabbinic Judaism is not the Israelite faith of the bible and is a post Biblical religion. It also denies Jehoshua being the Son of God which makes them antichrist and are the very ones John is warning about in 1 John chapter 2.

There is a glorious freedom in taking John at his word and knowing that you yourself can understand the scriptures without anyone teaching you. We have to remember that scripture calls us kings, queens and priests (Revelation 1:5-6; 4:9-10; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 1:4, 2:6).

The Holy Spirit of Jehovah God, the angel of His presence is the one who teaches us all things and therefore we know what is true and abide in the Father. This then eliminates the need for anyone to teach us. Let's go to Jehoshua for verification of what John says here:

Matthew 23:8-12

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your teacher, and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, [even] he who is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, even the Messiah. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled; and whosoever shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Jehoshua's words are largely ignored by these so called Hebrew roots teachers. The Son of God's words are plain as day, "be not ye called Rabbi"! Why can't these Nicolatians understand this? Jehoshua also says call no man father as we only have one Father who is Jehovah God in heaven. Jehoshua says to not be called masters yet Christendom/Hebrew roots world is filled with men who love titles and want their followers to call them by these titles.

The greatest among the brethren are actually to be the servants of the brethren and those who exalt themselves will be humbled. This is a verse the leadership of the various denominations hate as well as the so called you tube preachers. In one passage the Son of God takes out, from under so called teachers and leaders, the ability to put themselves in authority over anyone. When these so called Rabbi's and Pastors try to make their interpretation of scripture the ultimate and demand you submit to it they are basically gentiles (unbelievers):

Matthew 20:25-28

25 But Jehoshua called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 Not so shall it be among you: but whosoever would become great among you shall be your minister; 27 and whosoever would be first among you shall be your servant: 28 even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

The Son of God set the example and there is no excuse for any so called teacher to put themselves in authority over others, in fact, if he does he shows that he is an unbeliever. Jehoshua's true followers don't seek to have authority over others rather they desire to be the servants and ministers of the brethren. Those who desire the office of Bishop are actually required to be the servants of the sheep they are in care of. Jehoshua being the King of Israel said he came to serve others not be served.

What we have today is a bunch of wannabe Jews and Rabbi's running around telling others how to live out their faith and keep Torah. No wonder Paul was adamantly against the Judiazers of his day!

Now with all this being stated let's go to the heart of matter at hand. Let's start with the Jerusalem council of Acts 15. The controversy of this council is plainly laid out in chapter 15:

Acts 15:1-2

1 And certain men came down from Judaea and taught the brethren, saying, Except ye be circumcised after the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved. 2 And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and questioning with them, the brethren appointed that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

The controversy leading up to the council was regarding circumcision after the custom of Moses. There should be no confusion about this. In order to settle this issue Paul and Barnabas went up to Jerusalem to settle the issue. Notice that they didn't subject themselves to these certain men from Judea and even contested with them greatly about the matter. We should learn from this and not let any of these Jew-a-bee's affect us with their doctrine as they are not qualified leaders to subject you to their regulations. Was it needful for the nations to be circumcised in order to be saved? We will see as we continue to look at this passage:

Acts 15:4-6

4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church and the apostles and the elders, and they rehearsed all things that God had done with them. 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is needful to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider of this matter.

Notice that it was the Pharisees who were pushing the issue of circumcision. Who are the ones pushing the issue today? It is the ones who glean much of their understanding of the law from the offspring of the Pharisees, rabbinic Judaism. These would be the Hebrew roots folks and Messianic Jews.

The Pharisees who were part of the Jerusalem church wanted the believers from the nations to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses. This is exactly who is agitating the issue today, it is Hebrew roots/Messianic Jews who glean their torah understanding from Rabbinic Judaism. So the specific controversies are circumcision and the law of Moses and whether those from the nations should observe them. The issue was taken before thr apostles and elders.

Acts 15:8-9

8 And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us; 9 and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

These are the words of the apostle Peter as he ministered to the household of Cornelius who was of the Nations. Cornelius and his household recieved the holy spirit showing that Jehovah God looks at the heart not the outward ritualistic religion.  Jehovah made no difference between the Judeans and those of the Nations, cleansing both groups by faith in Messiah. Jehovah's giving of the holy spirit to the Nations was Him bearing witness that they were His children.

Acts 15:10

"Now therefore why make ye trial of God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?"

These are very words of Peter the Lord's apostle. It is crystal clear in that those who try and put thr yoke of circumcision and the law of Moses on the disciples are putting Jehovah God on trial. Peter even says neither the apostles nor their forefathers could bear the yoke of the law of Moses. History proves Peter right in that Jehovah divorced Israel due to their failure to live up to the covenant of Sinai.

It's amazing that these Hebrew roots folks and Messianic Jews completely ignore Peter's and do the exact opposite of what he says and actively try to put a yoke on the disciples of Jehoshua Messiah. They are being disobedient to the apostles doctrine and command. They are making trial of Jehovah God.

Acts 15:11

"But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jehoshua, in like manner as they."

Peter proves that the salvation plan for the Judeans and the Nations is the exact same in that it is by Jehovah's grace (divine influence upon the heart, divine gift). There is not a separate gospel for Judeans than there is for the Nations. See Ephesians 4:4-6 for confirmation of this. Salvation is not by the law of Moses per Peter.

Acts 15:13

"And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Brethren, hearken unto me"

Now it is time for the Bishop of the Jerusalem ekklesia James to make his decision on the matter. It is acknowledged by many scholars of church history that James was the unquestiones leader of all the ekklesia's. When the word "hearken" is used it means to listen and obey.

From verses 14-18 James quotes Amos 9:9-12 which is a prophecy that the Northern house of Israel would be dispersed among the Nations and be regathered unto Jehovah in the restored Davidic Kingdom. James applies these Nations being ministered to by Paul as a fulfillment of that prophecy meaning these Nations that are the subject of the circumcision question are Israelites of the Northern Kingdom.

Acts 15:19-20

19 Wherefore my judgment is, that we trouble not them that from among the Nations turn to God; 20 but that we write unto them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.

James retierates Peter's sentiments and says that his judgment (James sits on the seat of the Bishop) is that they trouble not those from among the Nations who turn to Jehovah God. This means thay those from the Nations do not have to get circumcised nor keep the law of Moses.

James does give those from the Nations some commandments to follow namely to abstain from idolatry and fornication. This covers some of the 10 commandments and other parts of the moral law of Moses such as Leviticus 18. Too many modern Christians use the Jerusalem council to promote a lawless gospel and yet ignore the actual commandments James gave at the council. James also commands to abstain from blood. This prohibits eating things with the blood not drained as well as blood transfusions as the life of the soul is in the blood. The purpose of this commandment is not to pollute your body with the blood of animals (humans included) since the lifeforce of someone is in their blood.

Acts 15:21

"For Moses from generations of old hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath"

Some believe what James is saying here is that those of the Nations will eventually learn and keep the law of Moses as they go to the Synagogue on the Sabbath day. However, James doesn't say any such thing so we cannot add to his words.

One view is that James commanded this to those of the Nations so that they would not offend their Judean brethren when they went to the Synagogue on the Sabbath day. Again, this is speculation so we cannot conclude this either. We do have some evidence that James does not mean what people in the first view says he means in regards to them learning and keeping the law of Moses as they attend the Synagogue on the Sabbath. Lets go to Acts for proof that James does not mean what many Hebrew roots/Messianic Jews says he means:

Acts 21:20-22

20 And they, when they heard it, glorified God; and they said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of them that have believed; and they are all zealous for the law: 21 and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou teachest all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs. 22 What is it therefore? They will certainly hear that thou art come.

This is the situation where James asks Paul if he is teaching the Judeans that they don't have to circumcise their children and themselves keep the law of Moses.

Acts 21:23-25

23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men that have a vow on them; 24 these take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges for them, that they may shave their heads: and all shall know that there is no truth in the things whereof they have been informed concerning thee; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, keeping the law. 25 But as touching the Gentiles that have believed, we wrote, giving judgment that they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication.

James tells Paul to pay for the purity vow of the four men from the Jerusalem ekklesia  including himself. Now look at what James says regarding the Nations (gentiles), he tells Paul :

"As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication"

You will notice a difference between the KJV (right above this) and the ASV in the quotation 3 paragraphs above. It really doesn't matter because in both cases James simply reiterates his decree given from his throne of Bishopric. This mean that his decision in Acts 15 is categorically authoritative and from Jehovah God Himself. James never reverses the decision, which is what we would need to see in order to command those of the nations to keep the law of Moses and get circumcised.
