John 3:16 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
How do we know that Jehovah loves us? The answer is very plain, he gave his only begotten Son Jesus to be a ransom sacrifice for the world. This love could not be expressed by giving another co equal God to die for us but rather his literal Son. Only begotten meaning only born (sole child) and coming out from. Jesus came out from the Father in the ages of eternity before the world was created. So Jehovah gave his only Son who came out from his substance. Us being human, we dearly love our children and it would pain us beyond measure to sacrifice them for anyone. Imagine God, who is love, having to sacrifices his actual Son for us and how heart wrenching this must have been for him. With this realization, we then can begin to understand our Father's love for us.
Philippians 2:6-11 (KJV)
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Our Saviour took off his Kingly robes to take on the form of a servant and became a suffering servant for our sakes. Jesus was obedient to the Father, even unto death at the stake, giving us an example to follow and reconciling us back to his Father. God highly exalted Christ and gave him the name that is above every name. One day every knee will bow and tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of Jehovah God. This will be a most sorrowful experience for the unbelievers as they will have forsaken eternal life due to believing a lie that Jesus isn't the Son of God and Christ of God.
Colossians 2:15 (KJV)
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Jesus triumphed over the works of darkness and plundered the strong man (satan). His life, death and resurrection was a victorious defeat over Lucifer and his evil angels.
I believe that we are now living in Jesus' millennial Kingdom (Colossians 1:12-13). The true Sabbath of the new covenant is the Davidic King, Jesus Christ (Shiloh). My blessed hope is the Second Advent of Jehovah's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, at the last day. Those in the Kingdom of Jesus will preach his Davidic Kingship as a present reality on the throne of David in New Jerusalem. Those who call on the name of Jehovah in these last days will be saved (Joel 2:32). Psalm 2:7!

The Nature of man
Genesis 1:26-28 [ASV]
[26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27]And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28]And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The Father tells the Son "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:" All men and women are made in the image of Jehovah and Jesus. This is a beautiful truth that many forget about. Even though Adam and Eve sinned and we inherited their sin nature, we are not totally depraved. We are born with a sin nature but we are not born sinners. Remember, it's the teaching that we are born sinners (original sin) that inspired the heresy of infant baptism by Roman Catholicism and many of her Protestant daughters.
Sin is the transgression of the law thereby a little baby cannot make the choice to transgress the commandments of God. Of course, once a little baby grows up and starts learning good and evil they will sin due to the nature they have inherited. They will also exhibit good character even before coming into a knowledge of God because they were made in his image which means they also have inherited some of his beautiful attributes.
Genesis 2:7 [ASV]
[7]And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
We as men and women are made of the dust of the ground (body) and the breath of life (spirit) from Jehovah to become a living soul. Jehovah's breathes into us his lifeforce (spirit) into our bodies and then we become a living soul.
Body + Spirit = a Living Soul
There is no such thing as a disembodied soul, as the soul is the combined result of the lifeforce (spirit) being breathed into a body at conception.
Psalms 51:10 [ASV]
[10]Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.
Our cry to God should be for a right spirit within us. Our sinful nature left to itself, will cause our heart to darken and the spirit within us to err. Notice the scripture says a "right spirit", we can only receive this right spirit by abiding in Christ and his words abiding in us. As humans grow and learn right from wrong, their heart and spirit within them will darken to the nature we have all inherited. Only by believing on the name of the Son of God and beocoming born again, can a person be transformed and be given a clean heart and right spirit. Even then we still have to daily consecrate ourselves and utter the prayer of the psalmist.
[26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Creation!
Exodus 20:8-11 [ASV]
[8]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9]Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work;
[10]but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11]for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Jehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
The seal of Jehovah is in the 4th commandment of the decalogue. It bears his name, title and territory. It also is a memorial of his creation work.
Name: Jehovah
Title: Creator
Territory: Heaven, Earth, Sea and all that in them is.
Jehovah hallowed the Seventh-day as a day of solemn rest and a memorial of his and Jesus creation of the world.
Psalms 33:6 [ASV]
[6]By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Jehovah spoke and so the heavens and the host of them came into being. This was the work of the Father and the Son, the precious work of their creation. Jesus words are the Father's thoughts made audible. Remember Jesus is the word of Jehovah God (John 1:1).
Hebrews 11:3 [ASV]
[3]By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.
Jehovah through His Son Jesus framed the worlds. This scripture confirms that any notion of evolution or a big bang theory are false as it was God's very word that created everything.

The blind leaders leading the blind!
Are Christians being led into a ditch by their denominations who are working with the United Nations? What have we to do with ungodly organizations that promote an unbiblical agenda?
You may not realize it but many Leaders of prominent Denominations are working with and supporting the U.N.'s Millennium Sustainable Development Goals. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has been exposed as one such Denomination. Just read their "Watchtower" and "Awake" magazines which are basically promotions for the United Nations agenda. They were also found out to have been a member of the United Nations as a Non Government Organization from 1992-2001. This all the while claiming that the United Nations is the sea beast of Revelation 13.
The rank and file Jehovah Witnesses make nothing but excuses for their apostate leadership. As the word of God says "the blind lead the blind and both fall into a ditch". That ditch my friends is the Lake of Fire. Following man will cause you to persish. Only follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.

Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Note below where it says "The two leaders discuss ways to help people and promote religious tolerance". Now you know why "Present Truth" preachers are getting banned from certain conferences. Now you know why the GC Leadership doesn't take a firm stand against the Sodomite movement and even allows so called "non practicing" homosexuals to hold membership and leadership positions. Now you know why transgender elders are allowed to stay be and stay in leadership and no strong word is spoken against it and no disfellowshipping for the elder nor the apostate false pastor.
Now you know why a sodomite choir can perform songs at the Palm Springs SDA Church with nary a strong word against it from GC leadership nor disfellowshipping for the false apostate pastor.
The bottomline hard truth is the SDA GC Leadership most notably Ted Wilson supports the U.N.'s Millennium Sustainable Development Goals.
The U.N. promotes population control with abortion being one of the tools to achieve this.
The U.N. promotes the spread and acceptance of homosexuality throughout the world with sodomite pseudo marriage being the main objective.
The U.N. promotes the climate change agenda which will lead to the enforcement of the Sunday Environmental Sabbath Law (Mark of the Beast).
The U.N. seeks to have troops placed in every country in order to monitor and deal with citizens deemed troublesome to their governments.
The U.N. promotes communist agendas, redistribution of wealth.
The U.N. promotes unity among all religions and is against fundamentalism. They promote a one world ecumenical religious agenda.
The U.N. promotes a one world totalitarian government system where National Sovereignty is all but non existent.
Ephesians 5:11 prohibits Christians from having any part in this wicked organization and actually calls us to expose it and any connections it has with so called Christian leaders and/or denominations.
Denominations who work with or have any part of this wicked organization are fallen and are a part of Babylon the Great.
Revelation 18:1-4 calls all Jehovah's people to come out of Mystery Babylon (Roman Catholicism) and her Harlot daughters (apostate Protestantism and all other false religions).

Adventist Church President Holds First Meeting With UN Chief
The two leaders discuss ways to help people and promote religious tolerance.
APRIL 6, 2015
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed concerns about growing religious intolerance worldwide during a private meeting with Adventist Church leader Ted N.C. Wilson, and he invited the Seventh-day Adventist Church to work with the UN in helping people.
Wilson, the first Adventist Church president to meet with a UN chief, noted that the church has long supported religious liberty and said it was willing to team up on initiatives that followed Christ’s ministry of helping people physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
Ganoune Diop, associate director of the Adventist world church’s public affairs and religious liberty department, said his department takes Jesus’ words of being the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world” in Matt. 5:13, 14 seriously.
“Its representatives mingle with political and religious leaders in every country without losing or compromising a distinctive Adventist identity,” said Diop, who attended the meeting.
Ban met with Wilson, Diop, and John Graz, director of the public affairs and religious liberty department, at 12:10 p.m. Monday for a 45-minute meeting in his office at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The meeting was arranged with the personal involvement of Ambassador Joseph Verner Reed, dean of the UN undersecretaries-general and a friend of Seventh-day Adventists, who regularly corresponded with Diop to make the meeting a reality, Diop said.
“It was a real privilege to meet the secretary-general and to hear his appeal for assistance for humanity,” Wilson told the Adventist Review.
“Seventh-day Adventists should be ready to witness for the Lord anywhere we go and to testify of God’s blessing in our lives and what we can do in His name,” he said. “The world is waiting for this type of heaven-inspired testimony with clear answers to today’s problems.”
Ban spoke about global issues such as poverty and a lack of education before voicing his concern about religious intolerance reaching unprecedented levels globally. Just last week, a militant Islamist group killed 148 people in an attack on Christians at a Kenyan university. IS and other extremist organizations in Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Libya, and elsewhere have also targeted Christians and other religious groups with often-deadly violence in recent months.
Ban underscored his belief that people should cultivate a respect for all, including those of other faiths. He indicated that he appreciated the Adventist Church’s work in promoting religious liberty as well as education, health, and humanitarian aid through the Adventist Development and Relief Agency. ADRA has worked with the UN in assisting refugees in the Middle East and elsewhere.
Wilson thanked Ban for the meeting and told about various church initiatives that correspond with the UN’s mission to help people.
“We had an excellent meeting with the secretary-general and some of his staff, sharing with them about the Adventist Church’s activities,” Wilson said. “We focused on certain things that the Adventist Church can help with, such as religious liberty, freedom of conscience, ethical and spiritual values, respect for human dignity, family guidance, encouragement for young people, and basic human necessities like pure water and fundamental education.”
Wilson added: “It is only if we are led by the Lord that we can truly be effective in our outreach to the world preparing them for Christ’s soon coming by carrying out the practical ministry of Jesus through the Holy Spirit’s power.”
Earlier Monday, Ban held talks with Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, whom Wilson incidentally met during a visit to the East African country in February.
At the meeting with Wilson, Graz gave a short report about major congresses organized by the church-affiliated International Religious Liberty Association that promote religious liberty and the church’s strong support of Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which says everyone has the right “to change his religion or belief.”
Graz, secretary-general of the International Religious Liberty Association, said he was encouraged to see Ban’s concern about religious intolerance and desire to see people of goodwill work together to bring justice and freedom.
“It was a historic meeting between the UN secretary-general and the president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church about the state of the world and how we can help people living in very difficult environments,” Graz said.
“As disciples of Jesus, we want to help people and especially those who are voiceless, discriminated against, and persecuted,” he said. “In this way, we share the essential values of the UN.”
Diop said he also saw ways that the church and UN could cooperate, particularly in eradicating poverty and promoting education and healthcare.
“The impressive portfolio that the Seventh-day Adventist Church has developed for service to the whole human family remarkably resonates with the Millennium Development Goals and the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN,” he said in a statement.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Seventh-day Adventist denomination is working with FEMA! Betrayal of the Saints.
Between the 6th and 7th minute mark of this video, the SDA GC is implicated as being involved with the FEMA Clergy Response Team. The Pastoral Crisis FEMA document is shown as being in the possession of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to distribute to their Pastor's Church wide.
The FEMA Clergy Response Pastor's will try to convince their congregations to accept martial law, relocation to FEMA camps, turning in their weapons etc. They will also report members of their congregations to FEMA who don't go along with the program.
Sorry people, but your GC leadership are Judas Goats most notably Ted Wilson who is embracing the United Nations millennium sustainable development goals and who has led the GC to be part of this FEMA Clergy Response Team. So, you still wanna tell people to remain in the GC Churches?

The truth about the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit
Genesis 1:1-2 [ASV]
[1]In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
[2]And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Jehovah through His Son Jesus created the heavens and the earth. This creation was done by agency of Jehovah's very own Spirit.
The word Spirit us rendered from the Hebrew Strongs 7307 - "Ruwach" and means "wind, by resemblance breath, i.e., a sensible or even violent) exhalation, blast, mind, whirlwind, spirit, but only of a rational being (including it's functions and expression)"
We see that it was by Jehovah's very own power (wind, blast, whirlwind) and mind i.e. Spirit that He created the heavens and the earth through His Son.
The text reads in verse two, "the Spirit of God", this denotes possession meaning it was God's actual Spirit at work in creation not another being. If I said my spirit does not feel good about something you never think I am talking about another being but rather you would rightly understand that I am talking about my very own emotions (mind). Or if I said my spirit allowed me to complete a task you would rightly understand that it was my very own power and not another being that allowed me to complete the task.
Luke 1:35 (ASV)
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore alsothe holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.
It was by Jehovah's Holy Spirit that Mary was given the child in her womb. Think about this for a minute, if the Holy Spirit was a distinct divine being apart from the Father and the Son, wouldn't the Holy Spirit be Jesus Father instead of "God the Father"? It makes logical and biblical sense that rather than a third divine being impregnating Mary, that it was actually the power of God (his very own Spirit) that caused her to conceive the child (Jesus).
Luke 4:18 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Jesus is quoting Isaiah 61:1. Notice what Jesus says here "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me". It's the Lord's (Jehovah) very own Spirit (power, presence, mind) that is upon Jesus. This is not in reference to a third divine being but rather his Father's very own Spirit. The word Spirit is rendered from the greek word "pneuma" (Strongs 4151) and means "a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc. life, mind."
So when Jesus says "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me" he is talking about his Father's mind, power and presence as we now see what the word "spirit" actually truly means. It's his Father's power that allows him to heal and set free the captives.
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jehovah God anointed His Son Jesus with His very own Spirit. Notice that the Holy Ghost is synonymous with power. This power that Jesus was anointed with gave him the ability to heal and do good. It also says God was with him which makes sense if the Holy Spirit is God's very own Spirit (mind, breath, wind). In Isaiah 11:1-3 we see the prophecy of the above verse in Acts 10:38. From verse 2 in Isaiah 11, it says "And the spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him".
So again it is the Father's very own Spirit that rest upon Jesus not a third divine being. Verse 2 of Isaiah 11 describes the qualities of Jehovah's Spirit. These were exemplified by Jesus when he was given the Father's Spirit. These qualities all originate from Jehovah God.
2 Peter 1:21(KJV)
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Prophecy can only be inspired the Holy Spirit which comes from the Father and the Son. When men speak prophetic words it must be the Holy Spirit that is moving them, otherwise the prophecy is not true nor inspired. This is how false prophecies come about when men speak without the unction of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (KJV)
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Jehovah is that Spirit and where His Spirit is, there is liberty. Did you catch that? The above passage says that Jehovah God (The Father) is the Holy Spirit not a third being called "God the Holy Spirit". Remember from Ephesians 4:4-6, there is only one Spirit. The Holy Spirit is how Jehovah is present everywhere. Jehovah's Spirit is given to His Son Jesus and then sent to us as their Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and Christ and not a third divine being. The Spirit of Jehovah gives us true liberty not to use it as a cloak for vice, but to to use it to please God and Christ.
The Spirit of God frees us from the letter of the law. The letter killeth but the Spirit gives us life and we can then obey the law being led by the Spirit not by the flesh. The letter of the law compels us to obey the law as a set of do's and don't's and to do it with our own will power. The Spirit of the law leads us to obey the law out of love for God and Christ which is due to having a relationship with them.
The letter represents the sacrificial system which was only able to cover sin. The Spirit represents the salvation of the New Testament, the atonement of Jesus Christ which is able to bring salvation through the regeneration and total washing away of sin. The ministration of death written and engraven on stones was in reference to the punishment for violating Jehovah's Royal Law. We now have the ministration of the Spirit which are the commandments written on our hearts. Now we have a High Preist Jesus Christ that blots out our sins for us if we confess them. Paul calls both ministrations glorious. Violation of both lead to death eventually, however now by coming to Christ we are no longer under the curse of disobedience. We now, through the Spirit of Christ, can keep the moral law. Christ gave us the perfect example of law keeping. He kept the Spirit of the law which is always accompanied by mercy and love. The letter of the law is many times accompanied by man's traditions.
Hebrews 8:10 (KJV)
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
The above is a fufillment of Jeremiah 31:31-35.
As we can see, the New Testament is not a doing away with the law but rather that the law transfers from stone tablets to heart tablets. It transfers from an earthly preisthood to a heavenly preisthood. It transfers from a temple made of stone to a bodily temple of the believer in Christ. It is the law magnified by the Spirit that is the law of the New Testament. Jesus gave us the example to follow as he magnified the law making it more full.
This in no way does away with Jehovah's Royal Law, but it actually makes it even more binding as now they are supposed to be written in our hearts. If they are written in our hearts then we will be led by the Spirit to keep all ten of them which could only be for our good. We don't keep them as a set of do's and don't's, but rather being led by the Spirit of Christ we keep them out of our love for him and his Father and for the children of God. This was always the way the law was to be kept. Only by Christ very own Spirit can we keep the law the way he did. The example not to follow is The pharisees and the way they kept it which was as a list of do's and don't's thereby making it a bondage for others. With the law in the mind and heart it is lived each day and kept spontaneously through the believers earnest desire as he has the Spirit of God and Christ in him.
As we behold the glory (dignity) of Jehovah we become transformed into His image (likeness, resemblance). From glory to glory meaning we worship, honour and praise Jehovah continously, we then are changed into His image being led and filled by His Spirit.
Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Jesus through his Spirit has given men and women gifts that would edify and perfect his body, which is the Christian Congregation.
Acts 1:8 (KJV)
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Holy Spirit was to come upon the Apostles to be witnesses to all the earth. This was the same Holy Spirit that was prophesied about in Joel 2. This was the same Holy Spirit prophesied to come upon Jesus in Isaiah 11. What is the identity of the Holy Spirit? Those two passages mentioned above clearly identify the Holy Spirit as Jehovah's very own Spirit not a third divine being.
From Isaiah 11:2 in regards to Jesus receiving the Holy Spirit
"And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him".
From Joel 2:28 in regards to the Holy Spirit coming upon the Apostles at Pentecost
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh."
We clearly see here that the Holy Spirit is the actual Spirit (mind, presence, power) of Jehovah God not "God the Holy Spirit".
John 14:16-18 (KJV)
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Verse 16, Jesus says that his Father will give the apostles another comforter and that comforter would be with them forever. Many have used this scripture to teach that the Holy Spirit is a distinct divine being. Let's look closely and see exactly what Jesus meant as "another comforter".
If the Holy Spirit isn't a distinct being apart from the Father and the Son, why would Jesus use the word "another"?
First, let's look at the greek word for comforter which is "parakletos" which means "an intercessor, consoler,: - advocate, comforter".
Let's look at an interesting verse
1 John 2:1 (KJV)
2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Jesus Christ is called our advocate which is rendered from the same greek word that comforter is rendered from which is "parakletos". As you can see from above the definition of parakletos is comforter and advocate.
So why does Jesus say the Holy Spirit will be another comforter if indeed Jesus fits the same description as being a comforter and advocate? The answer is rather easy, the Holy Spirit is Jesus divested of humanity. Jesus could no longer be with the disciples in person as his preistly duties at the right hand of the Father awaited him. So in his stead, the Father sends the Holy Spirit in Jesus name to the disciples so that Jesus very own Spirit would be with them forever.
Remember the word Spirit in the greek and Hebrew means mind, breath and wind. It does not mean a "being". The Holy Spirit that the Father sent to the apostles was the very mind (wisdom), breath (life) and wind (presence, power) of Jesus that originates from Jehovah God. It was the Spirit of God and Christ that was sent to the apostles.
Ephesians 4:4-6 says there is only One Spirit so the Holy Spirit is the same as the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ.
Verse 17 of John 14 clears any doubt as to the identity of the Holy Spirit. Jesus says the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit because they don't see or know him. Look at what Jesus says next "but ye know him: for he dwelleth with you"
Wait a minute! I thought the Holy Spirit hadn't been sent to the apostles yet. What does Jesus mean by "ye know him: for he dwelleth with you"? The answer is obvious, Jesus is talking about himself as he is the one who has been with the disciples not anyone else.
Look at Jesus following words "and shall be in you". Let's look at Colossians 1:27 for further proof on the identity of the Holy Spirit:
Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Clearly when Jesus says the Holy Spirit shall be in them, he is talking about himself which is confirmed by the above passage in Colossians. In fact, we are told that Christ in us is the hope of glory. Christ can only be in us when we have his Spirit dwelling in us, which of course is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Christ set apart (Holy) Spirit (Power, presence, life and mind).
Verse 18 gives us another confirmation as to the identity of the Holy Spirit. Look at Jesus words "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." Wait a minute! I thought Jesus is at the right hand of the Father. Since Jesus can't be present here on earth physically, he comes to us as the comforter which is his Holy Spirit. So now we know what Jesus means when he says "another comforter", it's himself divested of humanity. The Holy Spirit is the means by which Jesus comes to us and doesn't leave us comfortless. The Holy Spirit of course originates with the Father and is given to Jesus and then given to us his brethen. It's the Father and Son's very own Spirit which is their power, mind, presence and lifeforce.
John 14:26 (KJV)
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The above passage was fufilled at Pentecost and prophesied in Joel chapter 2
Joel 2:27-29 [ASV]
[27]And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else; and my people shall never be put to shame.
[28]And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
[29]and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.
Note that Jehovah is the one who poured out His Spirit on all flesh. This confirms that Jehovah is the Father as Jesus said it was his Father that would send the Holy Spirit to the disciples. Also, note in verse 27 Jehovah says "I am Jehovah and there is none else" this means that the Father Jehovah is the only true God which agrees with what Jesus himself said in John 17:3.
Many Pastors and theologians falsely teach that Jesus was Jehovah in the old testament. Certainly Jesus spoke on his Father's behalf in the old testament as the "Angel of Jehovah i.e. Michael The Archangel" and Jesus is also called Jehovah in the old testament (See Genesis 18 and 19). Jesus was given his Father's name "Jehovah" however he is not "Jehovah the Almighty God" but rather he is "Jehovah our Righteousness" and the "Salvation of Jehovah", he is the true Son of Jehovah. Just like a human son takes on his Father's name and nature yet he still isn't the Father nor as old as his Father. He is also subject to the Father in authority. The same is true of Jesus and his Father Jehovah.
The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. We always have to rely on the Spirit and not put our trust in man. John 15:26-27 (KJV)
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Jehoshua confirms that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father (Jehovah) as prophesied about in Joel chapter 2. In reading Chapter 2, we learn that the Spirit that proceeds from the Father is not another divine being but rather the Father's very own Spirit (power, presence and wisdom). Isaiah 11 clearly defines what the Holy Spirit is.
Isaiah 11:1-3 [ASV]
[1]And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
[2]And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.
[3]And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;
As we can see from the above passage, the Holy Spirit is the very qualities that the Father possesses not another divine being. The Holy Spirit is Jehovah's counsel, knowledge, might, understanding, wisdom. The Holy Spirit is Jehovah's very own personality just as my spirit as a human is my very own personality not another person apart from me.
The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus, so even if you believe that the Holy Spirit is a distinct divine being apart from the Father and the Son he is not to be glorified and worshipped as many in Christendom are now doing.
The Holy Spirit bears witness to those who are in Christ. The Holy Spirit also convicts the world of sin leading some to repentance.
John 16:7-13 (KJV)
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Verse 7, Jesus tells the disciples that in order for the comforter to come he has to go away. Jesus uses the word expedient which means "to profit, to be profitable, be better". Why would Jesus have to go away so that the Holy Spirit could come to the disciples? Because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ which he sends to us. Remember that Christ in us is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). As long as Christ was still on earth as a man he couldn't send his Spirit to us. He had to glorified and ascend to heaven at the Father's right hand. This is why he told the disciples it would be better for him to go away.
Verse 8-11, remember Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life. The Holy Spirit has the same function that Christ did while he was on the earth. Jesus testified of the world's evil works, called the world to repentance and gave testimony that he was the true Son of God and that he would be with the Father in heaven. Jesus warned of the coming judgment and that satan has already been judged. The Holy Spirit does the same.
Verse 12-13, Jesus told the disciples that the Holy Spirit would guide them into all truth and that the Holy Spirit would not speak of himself. Remember, Jesus said that he came to glorify the Father and not himself and that he doesn't speak his own words but the Father's words. The Holy Spirit has the same function because it is Jesus very own Spirit so it makes sense that the Spirit of Christ would not speak of himself but rather speak the Father's words. In many of today's churches they ignore this and worship the Holy Spirit as God. They even made up a title called "God the Holy Spirit". Some go so far as worshipping and praying to the Holy Spirit which is idolatry.
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[3]And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
