The Godhead! What does the Bible teach?-UPDATED

There are only two beings given the title God in the Bible, guess who they are?

God the Father Jehovah and
The Lord Jehoshua (The Salvation of Jehovah).

These two beings (Jehovah and Jehoshua) are distinct from each other possessing the same divine nature but seperate substances. They have the same Spirit=pnuema (greek) and ruwach=(Hebrew) which means breath, mind and wind. They are not literally the same being. They are eqaul in nature but not in position as Jehoshua (Jesus Christ) is subordinate to the Father Jehovah.

1 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV)

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

The Son Jesus Christ is not the Father Jehovah but rather the divine and preexistent Son sent to do the work and will of the Father.

John 6:38 (KJV)

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 14:28  (KJV)

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

1 Corinthians 15:24-28 (KJV)

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

The Holy Spirit is also divine being that it is God's Spirit that is sent to us through his Son Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit is the unseen presence and person of Jesus. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son and it is not a seperate distinct being or it's own God.

John 14:26 (KJV)

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Note that God the Father sends the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Jesus often spoke of himself in the third person.

John 14:17-19 (KJV)

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Note verse 18, in reference to the Holy Spirit Jesus says "I will come to you". Proof that the Holy Spirit is the unseen presence and person of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit is continually mentioned throughout scripture as being the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus but not once are the words "God the Holy Spirit" used or for that matter the word "Trinity" which came into being as a doctrine in 325 AD in the pagan Church of Rome (The Catholic Church).

The Trinity teaching denies the Father/Son relationship of Jehovah and Jehoshua. What does the Bible say about those who deny the Father and the Son? Now, not all Trinitarian's do this but the technical doctrine of the Trinity does. Many Trinitarian's do worship God in Spirit and in truth and have a great understanding of the Binitarian Godhead (Jehovah and Jehoshua with their Divine Holy Spirit). They just use the word "Trinity" because it has been ingrained in most of us. So, in reality a lot of Trinitarian's aren't true Trinitarian's in the technical doctrinal sense. God winks at ignorance so Trinitarian's are still his saved children but we still must love truth and come to a more correct understanding of scripture. Remember triads/trinity's go all the way back to Ancient Mystery Babylon with Nimrod/Semiramis/Tammuz and various trinity's were passed down to all the pagan religions in Egypt such as Horus, Isis and Osiris. Trinity's were also present in Greek, Roman and other pagan cultures/religions. So it's no surprise that the Modern Mystery Babylon (The Catholic Church) would pollute the Church with this pagan three in one and one in three Godhead doctrine. The word Trinity wasn't coined in Christianity until 185 AD by Tertullian. Then Athanasius ,who was heavily influenced by pagan philosophy in Alexandria, Egypt, took the first steps for the Trinity to be indoctrinated as creed at the First council of Nicaea. His opponent in this was Arius who also had an incorrect view of the Godhead. However most of the Bishop's in attendance at this council had neither view.  Rather they had a Semi Arian view of the Godhead which is Binitarian. Athanasius had a Trinitarian view and Arius had a Unitarian view both of which are unbiblical.

1 John 2:22 (KJV)

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

No mention of the Holy Spirit here. Also, notice what spirit gets attributed to those who deny the Father and the Son. Just to be clear many Trinitarian's don't do this, but the actual doctrine itself does. The Catholic Church who who developed this doctrine will be held accountable as will the Bible teachers/preachers of Protestantism and evangelicalism who have discovered the truth about this pagan Trinity teaching and kept it to themselves out of the fear of man. Is it no wonder, that the antichrist himself the Little Horn is the papacy who is the Chief teacher and guardian of the Trinity. The scripture above says that those who deny the Father and the Son have the spirit of antichrist and that is exactly what the Trinity doctrine does by saying that the Father is the Son and the Son is the Father (same substance and same being). The papacy (by office of the Roman emperor and Bishop/s of the Catholic Church, predecessors to the papacy, in 381 AD) being thee antichrist, is the originator of the institution of this Trinity doctrine. It's not enough to have a two in one and one in two Gos but they add the Holy Spirit to the mix and voila you have the "Trinity three in one and one in Three God". What a confusing doctrine, confusion in Hebrew means "Babel" short for Babylon. It makes sense that this is a Roman Catholic invention since they are Modern Mystery Babylon and Ancient Mystery Babylon was the originator of the first Trinity of Nimrod "The God of Fortresses", Semiramis "The Queen of Heaven" and Tammuz (the supposed reincarnation of Nimrod who became the Sun god after his death) "The Sun god".

The Confession of the Council of Nicaea said little about the Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit was developed by Athanasius in the last decades of his life. He defended and refined the Nicene formula. By the end of the 4th century, under the leadership of Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nyssa, and Gregory of Nazianzus (the Cappadocian Fathers), the doctrine had reached substantially its current form.

The below scripture according to the 1984 Hebrew and Greek Interlinear Bible is not authorized scripture and is not found in any of the authoritative Greek manuscripts. The below scripture is from the Latin Vulgate Bible which is Catholic.

1 John 5:7 (KJV)

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 20:21-22 (KJV)

21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Verse 21- Jesus saying that his Father has sent him shows that he and the Father, while being of one mind and spirit, are distinct divine beings who share in the Godhead diety. They are not literally the same being but rather distinctly their own. They are of each other (mind, breath, wind) but not literally in each other as far as their beings go. Just as members of the Church have one mind and one Spirit but yet are all distinct in person hood. We are not in a literal sense in each other,  same goes with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Verse 22 - This is key here in debunking the Trinity doctrine. Jesus breathes on them (the disciples) the Holy Ghost. Ghost =pneuma ( Greek ) which means a current of air, breath ( blast ) or a breeze; (by analogy or figurative) a spirit, I.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ's Spirit,  ghost, life, spirit (ual,-ually), mind, the wind, air in motion, a breeze,  blast.

So we see from the above definition that the Ghost means breath, mind and wind-life, a current of air. We can safely say then that Jesus didn't breathe a literal person into/onto the disciples as that would make absolutely no practical or spiritual sense. In order to believe in the Trinity you have to conclude that Jesus breathed a literal divine God into/onto the disciples. That would not be a correct application of this text. Being that Ghost in the greek means breath, mind and wind-life then it is safe to say that Jesus breathed his own Spirit into/onto them which is his breath, mind and wind. Jesus being God is Holy so in effect so is his Spirit. So the disciples here received the Holy Spirit which is the breath, mind and wind of God and of Christ.

Ephesians 4:3-6 (KJV)

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We see here clearly in the above verses that there is One Lord which is Christ Jesus and One God which is the Father.  Note that it says the Father is above all and father of all which includes Christ Jesus his Son. The Father is in us. How is he in us? Through the agency of his Holy Spirit which is his breath, mind and essence. Note in verse 3, it talks about the unity of the Spirit and the call to keep it. Verse 4 also says there is one Spirit. This Spirit is of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ being their breath, mind and essence. Just as we are one Spirit as the Church and one Spirit with Jehovah and Jesus, so to are the Father and the Son one Spirit which consists of breath, mind and essence. The have the same Spirit of which is the Holy Ghost. This Spirit is given to us as a comforter and a truth leader. This Spirit comes out of God and works through Jesus Christ who is the unseen presence of the comforter and truth teller. So the Holy Spirit is not a distinct person which is part of the Godhead diety as it's own being but rather it is God the Father's and the Lord Jesus Christ very own Spirit which consists of their breath, mind and essence.

Ephesians 4:23 KJV

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Notice the connection between spirit and mind. Spirit here in the greek is the same word as Ghost in Matthew 28 which means breath, air, mind. Mind=nous (Greek) which means understanding,  mind, (by implication) meaning,  disposition,  moral inclination,  equivalent to the heart, (divine or human;  in thought, feeling, or will).

We see from the above description in the greek, that the mind has nothing to do with a distinct being separate from it's origin (the person or deity of who it dwells in and from). The Spirit from the definition in the greek, is one's very breath, wind and mind. The Spirit and mind are closely related and the mind is in fact a characteristic of someone's spirit. In this context it speaks of us as humans but it is also the same for our creator's Jehovah and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost is the very mind of Christ and of God. Being that the mind is not something that can be considered a distinct person but rather eminates from it's origin, in this case being God and His Son Jesus, we then can easily refute the false trinity teaching which states the Holy Spirit is a distinct separate being and person that is God as part of the Godhead diety. The Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead insofar as it is the very breath, mind and essence of God and His Son Jesus Christ. It is not part of the Godhead as a distinct person and it is not to be worshipped or prayed to as such, but rather we pray to God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ to pour their Spirit on us and into us.

1st John 1:3 KJV

"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."

John states that our fellowship as Christians is with God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. No mention of the Holy Spirit. Why is this, being that many believe that the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead diety as a distinct person and being? Is it because the Holy Spirit rather than being a distinct being as part of the Godhead is actually the spirit of God and the spirit of Christ? The Holy Spirit comes out of God and out of Christ, their very breath, mind and essence. This is different than it being a seperate distinct person who is God.

 Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Many people will use the above scripture to prove the Trinity doctrine but remember when ascribing a God diety in the form of a distinct person to a substance, one must provide clear Biblical evidence. This is serious,  it's not just a matter of a non essential but it's actually denoting something as God. All we can gather from this passage is that we are to baptize new believers in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. This passage in and of itself doesn't denote diety  but we can ascertain from multitudes of other passages in scripture that indeed the Father and Son Jesus Christ are distinct persons of the GodHead. However can we do this with the Holy Spirit?  We will see as this study progresses. Although we can easily find out here what "Holy Ghost" means, Holy=hagios (Greek) which means sacred, pure, clean, consecrated,  devoted, hallowed, worthy of reverence and veneration,  Holy, set apart. Ghost=pneuma (Greek) which means a current of air, breath (blast) or a breeze; (by analogy or figuratively) a spirit, mind, ghost, life, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition.

So by the above description in the greek, we can say that the Holy Spirit is the sacred breath, mind and wind of God The Father and his Son the Lord Jesus Christ. The word spirit in the greek is not denoted as a seperate distinct being but rather life that comes out of something already in existence whether that be the spirit of a person or the Spirit of God and his Son Jesus Christ. So, we can conclude that when baptizing new converts we do so by the name of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and by their Holy Spirit which comes forth from them and out of them as their bery breath, mind and essence and not being of it's own separate distinction in the Godhead.

Acts 1:1-2 (KJV)

1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Here is proof that the Holy Ghost is the agency in which Jesus speaks to his people through. The Holy Ghost is not a seperate distinct being from Jesus Christ as it's own God, but rather is the agency in which Christ now communicates to us. That's why he had to ascend to his Father so that he can come to his disciples again by way of the Holy Spirit. In being consistent with the Theocratic order, the Holy Spirit originates from the Father, then is given to the Son and then is sent to us as the unseen presence and person of Jesus Christ and the power of God. Read Joel 2:28-29 for proof that the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of God and not a seperate distinct being of the Godhead.

Joel 2:28-29 (KJV)

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

The above passage is talking about the last days which are in the new covenant dispensation, which we are living in now so the reference is obviously to the Holy Spirit. Note that it says God's Spirit not God the Holy Spirit. Jehovah is clearly saying he will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. This isn't the Holy Spirit speaking for himself. This is Jehovah saying he will pour out His Holy Spirit out on all flesh.

What about Paul the Apostle,  was he a Trinitarian or a Binitarian? Look at his greetings to the Churches. Noticeably absent is the Holy Spirit.

Romans 1:7-8 (KJV)

Hebrews 1 (KJV)

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

In all these greetings to the Churches,  Paul never mentioned the Holy Spirit once, yet we are to believe that it is a seperate distinct being of the Godhead. Why is this?  Because Paul obviously had the understanding that the Holy Spirit was the Spirit of Jehovah and Jehoshua not a distinct being. Paul obviously was a Binitarian not a Trinitarian!

What about James, Trinitarian or Binitarian?

James 1:1 (KJV)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

The answer is = Binitarian!

What about Peter, Trinitarian or Binitarian?

1 Peter 1:1-3 (KJV)

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

2 Peter 1:1-2 (KJV)

1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

The answer is= Binitarian!

What about John,  Trinitarian or Binitarian?

1 John 1:3 (KJV)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

The answer is = Binitarian!

The above men of God all had a proper understanding of the Holy Spirit's role as the Power and presence of Jehovah and His Son Jehoshua not as a separate distinct being of the Godhead.

Revelation 12:17 (KJV)

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12 (KJV)

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

So what is the key here?  It is that we are to keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. No mention of the Holy Spirit. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is not a God unto itself as a separate distinct being but rather the very agency whereby we can keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Very important to note here that the word for God here is elohiym=(Hebrew) which is plural meaning more than one. It means gods in the ordinary sense but specifically used (in plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; ocasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: angels x exceeding, God (gods). A masculine plural noun meaning God, gods, judges, angels.

So, the God's (plural) here in this verse are obviously Jehovah and Jehoshua. We know from several other scriptures that all things were created by and through Jehoshua by way of his Father Jehovah. So when the Father tells the Son "Let us make man in our image" what does he mean? Let's go to Genesis 1:27 to find out:

Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Notice the image of God was completed in two beings, male and female. Look below for the nature of these two beings relationship.

Genesis 2:24 (KJV)

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

So male and female who were created in the image of God as two distinct beings yet came from the same source. The verse says they shall be one flesh.  Now what does that mean? It doesn't mean they are literally one flesh or one being, but it means they will be of the same spirit which in this case means mind (mental disposition). Of course also the literal being if one flesh during intimacy is implied but in reality that is a small part of the one flesh statement. The more overall meaning of the one flesh statement is that they will be of the same spirit by coming together in marriage. This however does not mean they are literally the same being by statement they become one flesh as it's a manner of speaking. Just as the Son and The Father are not literally the same being by Jesus statement that he and the Father are one and that he is in the Father and the Father in him. Jesus statement is a manner of speaking with the true meaning that He and the Father share the same Spirit which in this case primarily means mind (mental disposition).

God The Father, The Son who is Lord and The Holy Ghost are common nouns. How come only God The Father and his Son have proper nouns such as Jehovah and Jehoshua? Because the Holy Spirit is not a distinct person but rather the power of God.  The Holy Spirit nowhere in scripture is given or described as having a proper noun.
