Praise Jah!

The King James Bible renders the word "Hallelujah" as "Alleluia" which is the greek word for that expresssion. Hallelujah means Praise you Jah/Jehovah. Alleluia the greek rendering for Hallelujah means praise ye Jah!, an adoring exclamation. In Hebrew, the word Hallelujah comes from the Hebrew words "halal" and "Yahh".

Halal meaning to celebrate, to be clear, to shine; to make a show, to boast. To commend, glory, give in marriage, (sing, be worthy of praise, rage, renowned.

Yahh is a contraction for Yhovah and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred name:-Jah, the Lord, most vehement.

One could argue that since the expression Hallelujah has the proper name for God, it should have been rendered as such in all translations. Either way, understanding that the expression Hallelujah means "praise ye Jah (Jehovah)", we can rightly see that the first 6 verses in Revelation 19 are about the Almighty Jehovah, the Father of Jesus.

The multitudes in heaven praise Jehovah saying Salvation, and glory and honour, and power belong to our God (verse 1).

Revelation 11:15 (KJV)

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

This scripture above is very revealing concerning the Godhead. Notice the words "the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;" the Lord here is obviously the Father Jehovah otherwise it wouldn't have said "and of his Christ". Obviously Jesus Christ belongs to the Almighty God Jehovah thereby being subordinate to Him. They are also two separate distinct beings as noted in the passage, being that the Christ belongs to the Lord (Jehovah). Logically, Christ can't belong to himself being that the passage says he belongs to someone else, in this case his Father. This eliminates them being one in person as trinitarian's surmise. Unfortunately the use of the word "Lord" throughout scripture has been used by trinitarian's to confuse the Father and the Son. This theme of Jesus belonging to Jehovah and being subordinate to Him is reiterated in Revelation 12:10:

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."

So here we see that Jehovah is referenced as God and He has His Christ  (anointed one) Jesus who has power. The kingdom belongs to both Jehovah God and His Christ (anointed one) as they both reign on the throne. Jehovah is above all (1 Corinthians 15) however our Lord Jesus Christ has been given an inheritance by His Father to reign over everything else excepting His Father Jehovah. We see here the beautiful Father/Son relationship and co rulership of Jehovah and Jesus. It pleases Jehovah to bestow everything in heaven and earth to the rulership of His only begotten Son.

True and righteous are Jehovah's judgments and he avenges His children! (Verse 2)

Deuteronomy 32:43 (ASV)

43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, And will render vengeance to his adversaries, And will make expiation for his land, for his people.

Psalm 19:9 (ASV)

9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether.

Revelation 6:10 (KJV)

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

The above passages confirm the character of Jehovah as a righteous judge and we can see this from text in the old and new testaments. Jehovah avenged His children of Israel (National) in the old testament and He will avenge His children of Israel (spiritual) when he sends His Son Jesus Christ to redeem the 144,000 from the earth after calling forth those resting in graves to everlasting life.

Jehovah will be praised as He executes justice on those who have persecuted His precious children (Verse 3). The same language in verse 3 of Revelation 19 can be found in Isaiah 34:10 in the destruction of Edom. The Great Whore (Roman Catholicism) and her harlot daughters (apostate Protestantism and Evangelicalism along with the false religions of the world) will be destroyed once and for all. This destruction will take place at the second advent of Christ our King. At the end of the millennium, all the wicked of times past will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire. This destruction is on earth and is permanent and final. It is not an unending torment in a spiritual underworld. Just as the smoke and fire of Edom's destruction is no longer burning or rising this day, the smoke and fire of the great whore's judgment will cease once it comsumes her fully to ashes. The phraseology of the below verse in Isaiah and verse 3 of Revelation 19 is metaphorical meaning the destruction of Edom and Mystery Babylon is permanent and forever.

Isaiah 34:10 (ASV)

"It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever."

The elders and beasts fall down and worship God who sits onthe throne saying praise ye Jah/Jehovah! (Verse 4).

Revelation 5:14 (KJV)

"And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever."

Psalm 106:48 (ASV)

48 Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye Jehovah.

Jehovah is the God of Israel (the Christian Congregation) and he is the one that lives forever and is to be praised from everlasting to everlasting. The trinity is not the God of Israel but rather it is the god of Rome. Our God is One and he has a literal Son "The Mighty God" Jesus Christ. The Son by divine inheritance is also due worship.

All of Jehovah's servants who fear Him are exhorted to praise Him, both small and great (Verse 5).

Psalm 134:1 (ASV)

134 Behold, bless ye Jehovah, all ye servants of Jehovah, That by night stand in the house of Jehovah.

Psalm 135:1 (ASV)

"Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise him, O ye servants of Jehovah,"

Jehovah is the all powerful God (verse 6) who reigneth!

Psalms 97:1 (ASV)

"Jehovah reigneth; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad."

Revelation 19:1-21 (ASV)

1  After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah; Salvation, and glory, and power, belong to our God:

2 for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, her that corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3 And a second time they say, Hallelujah. And her smoke goeth up for ever and ever.

4 And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God that sitteth on the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelujah.

5 And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise to our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great.

6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah: for the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigneth.

7 Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

8 And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.

10 And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus: worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11 And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteous he doth judge and make war.

12 And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.

13 And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure.

15 And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

16 And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid heaven, Come and be gathered together unto the great supper of God;

18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, and small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone:

21 and the rest were killed with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, even the sword which came forth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
